You should focus more on what gym they are from! Manfredo Jr 01-05-2006, 07:10 PM You shouldn't really worry about if they come from a town or city. You should focus more on what gym they are from! i aint worried , i just want to know opethdrums 01-05-2006, 11:24 PM i'd imagine people from the city are better due to a deeper talent pool Manfredo Jr 01-06-2006, 04:36 AM i'd imagine people from the city are better due to a deeper talent pool mmmmmmmm.... maybe , doubt tht though , they could just be tuffer with all the sparring they get , not sure  TOPitBull 01-06-2006, 10:21 AM it's like Barrera and Morales Barrera is a city boy, Morales is more of a samll town boy. I personally like Barrera better, and live in a big city my self so kick that country boys ass! Manfredo Jr 01-07-2006, 07:11 PM I was from a well to do suburb gym. I fought guys from the inner city constantly at tournaments. Believe me, they are people just as you are a person. They will bleed, have the same thoughts of you as you have them and they breathe the same air. A person from the city or from the sticks is still a person. Each with their own strengths and weaknesses. While it is good to be in a gym with alot of sparring, as in the city gyms, you can work past and through their experience. With some skill of your own, alot of heart and even more determination to pull the fight out. I was in your situation a long time ago. I know the thoughts that circle through your head like a twister. Have faith in your trainers and what they taught you, have even more faith in your self and then go out there and give 'em hell, every time out. Train hard and you will be fine. Rockin' :boxing: thanks man ;) vBulletin® v3.7.1, Copyright ©2000-2008, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
