A lot of arguements in my school and amongst my friends, personally I see rappers such as Rakim, Slick Rick, Pharoae Monch, Kool G Rap, KRS One, AZ , Nas as better overall MCs. I think Jay couls have a top ten place but what do you think? I wanna see real hip hop fans opinion not the kids who I talk to.

I would put him in the top 10. He's got great flow, a good message & consistent as always, my only problem with him is his biting of other people's lyrics.

I like Jay-Z and he is very underrated by some but I wouldn't put him in my top 10 favorites.

there is no way the old school rappers are as skilled as jay-z.

Top 20.

"there is no way the old school rappers are as skilled as jay-z."

Funny, seeing as how Jay-Z honed his "skill" after about 3-4 prominent "old school" rappers.

The first 8 tracks of Reasonable Doubt were utterly amazing. every song lead into the next perfectly...there are 8 bonafide classics in a row.

I was just showing the point that sales dont equal a good rapper.

Jay doesnt have his own film company, that film company is Dame Dash Films, owned solo by Dame Dash since Day 1.
