If you thought Brewster had troubles with Meehan because they were buddies, wait until you see the trouble he'd have getting up for JT.

Brewster grew up getting owend by Toney in sparring, and has admitted this. He's said he'd "cry like a baby" if he had to fight Toney, because "How do you fight your hero?"

Toney, with his skill, already would have the edge. When you factor in the psychological edge, Brewster's chances seriously diminish.

Toney by decision, unless Brewster's mom dies again. If his mom dies again, then he will kick toney's ass.

If Brewster's mom dies again, you can bet Brewster is unifying the division

Brewster was being outboxed by Krasniqi and Wlad right until he KOd them. I don't think Toney would make the same mistake as Krasniqi and try to trade with Brewster. I also don't think Toney would make the same mistake as Wlad, whatever it was. Toney by UD easily.

I agree. The only trouble I see was in the Toney-Ruiz fight, Ruiz was landing some good body shots. If Brewster spends mosts his work on Toney's midsection he has a good chance of wearing Toney down. Granted, I have never seen Toney broken down like that, but if anyone can rake the body, its Brewster.

I still lean towards Toney UD though.

My 2 favorite HW's, this fight could easily go either way. Brewster has the Ability to KO anyone, and Toney in the most skilled in the Div. from prior fights like this ali/foreman tyson/LL tyson/Holyfield i would have to go with Toney in this one. I hope this fight doesn't happen unless it's to unify the belts.

i have to diasagree with you here ...toney has never been knocked out in 76 fights and only had one off-balance kd against rjj no way does brewster knock him out...he is by far superior to brewster in every aspect except for power and brewster will not land a clean shot on toney who's defense is only 2nd. to pbf's.....toney wins easily by ud .........

:D You've got a valid arguement but I don't think that it is imposible for Brewster to K.O. Toney.

There are lot of undefeated fighters, who won all their fights by K.O. and have never K.D. or K.O. themselves but got their first K.O.s when it is unexpected. :) SO it has to happen first before people will believe it.

Toney was knocked down by Reggie Johnson in the second round of their middleweight bout as well shen.

I agree with much of what you say. Brewsters wide punches would be slo-mo for James and he'd be countered and beaten up all night. Brewsters success would come early from going to the body, but I don't think he's an intelligent enough fighter to sustain an effective body attack all night on James...who he has already mentioned as a fighter he has looked up to.

James would have him completely gassed by the mid-late rounds, then he'd start punishing Brewster with hard shots upstairs and down. Toney UD 8-4 on all cards.

theres a hidden joke in dat aswel tho, wlad got drugged, toney takes drugs lol! so he'l train for this fight and not just drug himself up!

and toney to win by unanimous decision, toney has got one of the best chins in boxing and NO1 catches him clean anyway! brewsters only chance is da KO but how likely is dat against toney!
