i always hated treadmills as they makeme dizzy when i come off and theyre boring...also as youre not running anywhere you exercise less as you arent pushing off to travel forwards

i tried roadwork just before xmas at my nans house in the country as i cant train until the 9th

it was a terrible experience

i dont normally run anyway so i set myself a target of 5 miles...then rest and another 5 miles back

i wasnt bored as i had many women problems to think through so the chance to run was sort of a blessing

however it was so dark i couldnt see on the way back except for car headlights coming towards me blinding me so i couldnt see to get out of the way as there was no pavement so i was running in the middle of the road

thus, ont the way back to the house i missed my turning as i dont know the area well and had never run there before

i ended up running around 15 miles before admitting i was lost and getting a lift back from some women who warned me that they couldnt see me in the world as my clothes were so dark

after all this...i still wasnt tired at all...my heart was barely pumping and all i had was aching ankles from after the first couple of minutes of running

is roadwork a waste of time? what could i do to get cardio improvements instead of stupid experiences?

Dude Mountain biking is perfect for you. Its a full body workout full or resistance, sprints, and builds coordination.

I'll stick with running 3 miles. if u got a friends ghouse or a store to go to it will be better and seem quicker cause u have an objective. so your not just running

I love running, especially in the morning, I live around a HUGE park which is like 2 miles around, so I either run around that VERY fast, or another way but still run by the park which will be 3 miles, etc.

I hate running with music, I'm so motivated during roadwork and it's the perfect time to relax my mind, and when I'm running, it's VERY dark, and it's just great...

When I run, I think boxing....

sounds good except i live in the centre of a city and i never learned how to ride a bike cos it looked boring....also thought car is alternative lol

if i learned would it be good idea in city with traffic in my way? or is the whole instability of the mountain whatr gives benefits?

i have done swimming but think is too much of an anaerobic exercise...in boxing you breathe
