I hope people don't just remember Hopkins by his Taylor fights. He was great in his prime.

I agree with this but then again Leonard is smaller than B-Hop but if Hagler could not catch him B-Hop probably would not either.

I have a lot of repect for hopkins but hopkins is sort of lukey of being in this era if he would of been in sugars rays tommy hearns hagler etc. we would not be talking about him and i am not a b-hop hater

that would look a lot like jones jr vs hop when they fought each other 13 years ago. sugar ray came out you a bit more than jones did though so maybee hopkins could catch and tag him more. but sugar ray had a better chin than jones so it wouldnt much matter if he caught him or not sugar ray kept comming with it no matter what and he threw combo's like other fighters through jabs. sugar ray in 10.

Both were great fighters. I'd give Leonard the edge and say he'd come out with a UD.
