Hey guys. I have this friend of mine an older lady who delivers papers for me and she was telling me how she has a step daughter in the Phillipines. She's trying to get her to America, but she doesn't have any papers because her father ****ed her up and burned all her stuff. I guess since 911 the US isn't letting anyone in without papers.

She's in a real bad situation over there and her mom is dear friend of mine and I would love to help her out, She lives in a town called "Vintar". Any of you know here this is?

Her name is Lovley Llamas(Yes her name is "Lovley"). If any of you who live in the Phillipines can help it would be greatly apricated. I will make sure you are very well compistaed and im not talking about fake internet points here.

let me know if you have any ideas.

It's just strange that a stepmother would want her to come to U.S. but her real father does not? I suppose the real mother is also in P.I.?
She can spend money and hire an immigration lawyer. Or save lotsa money by just spending for fake papers to present in the U.S. Embassy in P.I. and apply for tourist. ;)

Her step mom lives her. I work with her. Her father is now an alcoholic and abusive. Thats why she wants her here.

She has already hired an imigration lawyer and they couldn't help.

You should go to the Manny Pacquiao site and make a thread about this there. Lots of Pilipino residents there.

i feel real bad for her man but if it's not her real mother not a hole lot she can do untill the girl is 18 or whatever the legal age ...maybe she the girl can sue for her own custody and at the same time make your friend the guardian ...you are just running into a lot of international laws on this ...remember alien gonzales ...like i said if the law is the same i think she can denounce her citizenship and ask for US backing which then they would let her in ....but i cant be sure on that i'll try looking into it for you

Petition to Classify Alien as Immediate Relative of a United

States Citizen or as a Preference Immigrant; Self-Petitioning

for Certain Battered or Abused Spouses and Children

AGENCY: Immigration and Naturalization Service, Justice.

ACTION: Interim rule with request for comments.

SUMMARY: This interim rule amends the Immigration and Naturalization Service ("the Service") regulations to allow a spouse or child to seek immigrant classification if he or she has been battered by, or subjected to extreme cruelty committed by, the citizen or lawful permanent resident spouse or parent. It also permits a spouse to seek classification if his or her child has been battered by, or subjected to extreme cruelty committed by, the citizen or lawful permanent resident spouse. A qualified spouse or child who is living in the United States but is not a permanent resident may use the procedures established by this rule to self-petition for immigrant classification. The self-petition may be filed without the abuser's knowledge or consent, and may include the children of a self-petitioning spouse. A person who is granted immigrant classification under this provision may become eligible for lawful permanent resident status. A lawful permanent resident of the United States has legal permission to live and work in this country, and may later qualify for U.S. citizenship through naturalization.

Another way to do it if she is 22. If she can get a birth certificate, passport, NBI clearance, and other paperwork I can't remember, but she would find out when applying. Anyway, if she can come up with paperwork, someone here maybe a friend of yours or relative that is single, can petition for her to come here on a fiancee visa. Whoever it is would have to go there, take pictures with her, have correspondence via mail etc. to prove a relationship. That would be the fastest way to get her here. I was married in the Philippines and then came back here to the States, it took me 3 years to get my wife here. If I would have known it would have taken only months to do it on a fiancee visa I would have done that. Also go to www.uscis.gov for all the rules and forms.

I'm a pinoy American citizen, if she's hotter than my girl, then I'll marry her. She can divorce me after she gets her papers, it's no biggie, I'm just glad I could help.

a step mom? in our laws she has no right to whatsoever with regard to Lovely. if she wants her, she has to adopt her, with the written approval of her father and mother. such papers may be notarized in the philippine embassy in your country. how old is she? if she is below 7, the biological mother has every right to her custody, unless impugned in courts. but she is 22? then if ever she will be able to find lovely, all she needs to do is to convince her to join her. adoption will be an easy way, she doesnt need the consent of the parents. but lovely will still have to make a document attesting to her own consent that she be adopted.

happy new year! :boxing:

the US embassy has no jurisdiction over this because it involves a Filipino citizen who is currently residing in the philippines. it's the philippine embassy who has proper jurisdiction over this

i wish LOL but laws change from place to place and time to time he could be right....just do your research ask around follow the hints and it will lead you to what you need to know....remember there are always loopholes in any law no matter where it is from
