nope,youll thank this is crazy too then,even when you start as a professional youll probly only get around a hundred bucks or so unless your a real established amateur whos made a name for himself

In Germany, they have a boxing league, the Bundesliga, where most of the fighters are paid. Under the table of course. Some fighters make more doing that, than they would starting out as a pro.

You may have misheard and it wasn't actually an amateur fight. I have never heard of someone being offered money for an amateur fight. Most pro boxers get paid 100 per round, so 4 000 for an amateur fight probably didn't happen.

that's weird....I also thought amateurs were paid, isn't that Amir Khan guy getting paid like 70,000 a year to fight in the amateurs??
