Ive never seen these guys fight but I know that Valeuv is like 6'10 or something. Has anyone seen them fight? And do they have a chance at Vitali?

And do they have a chance at Vitali? I've seen Valuev once and was unimpressed. Like someone with a lot of power, Valuev is a "dangerous" opponent people won't want to schedule because that's a lot of weight to deal with and it's awkward fighting a guy that tall. That being said, his height/weight is similar to a "puncher's chance" - that's all he's got and he'll likely get outclassed by the first Top 10 fighter he schedules. Haven't seen Owen Beck, but he's fighting Monte Barrett on the undercard of Spinks/Judah II on Feb. 5 so I'll see him live. !!Captain 01-10-2005, 12:39 AM Ive never seen these guys fight but I know that Valeuv is like 6'10 or something. Has anyone seen them fight? And do they have a chance at Vitali? I have a few Valuev's fights but can't upload them (# of posts problem). He is huge. I also read that he only had something like 30 amatuer fights before turning pro. You can download his fights on Emule. tri4ben2 01-10-2005, 08:00 AM Valuev is big, that is all I can say. I saw his fight with Nobels and it looks like he uses his height well. However, sooner, rather than later, some journeyman is going to break down the body and score a knockout. I have also been saying that about Vitaly for a year....... ejk22 01-10-2005, 11:38 AM Valuev fears coming over here to fight. If he didn't he would have been here already. For his size he does not have the handspeed nor the accuracy nor power. tino 01-10-2005, 12:16 PM i saw his fight against nobles , nobles could have won if it wasnt for the DQ . he was starting to land flush and rocked valuev. if a small and unathletic HW like nobles can do it , any decent HW will KO valuev , who does jab jab right all fight. |
