View Full Version : Zab Judah will beat Floyd Mayweather
JUYJUY 12-24-2005, 11:09 AM Zab Judah will give Mayweather his first defeat if the fight happens at 148 or 150 next year. I said this last year.
I really think Mayweather will be so much slower at 148 or 150 (considering he fought at 126 at the Olympics), whereas it would be perfect for Judah because he wouldn't have to worry about losing those last few lbs. Judah is naturally bigger and more powerful than Mayweather, and he's FASTER than Mayweather, and with Mayweather being over-confident and Judah's ability to pull away from shots I just see Judah overwhelming him with size, strength and SPEED. Judah let's punches go from alsorts of angles at times too, and Mayweather hasn't seen that **** before.

Thats all well and good, but they're fighting for Judah's WBC title, presumably at 147.
Dr.Depravity 12-24-2005, 11:18 AM I just dont agree. Even if Floyd slows down a little, hes still going to be faster than Judah. I think it will be quite awhile before I pick against Floyd.
Londonerzz 12-24-2005, 11:27 AM will judah's chin hold out??

the title arent on the line.

... i guess i was wrong.
its good to know that a fight this big is for a title.
TOPitBull 12-24-2005, 11:41 AM Yes the WBC is, check Boxrec. I think JuyJuy makes a good point, Mayweather may not be ready for a real welterweight. especially with Judahs speed and power. Floyd hasn't seen anything like this before. Also Judahs weakness is his chin, but Mayweathers power is nothing to brag about. So whats the threat to Judah?
I am still not clear on who i think will take this fight, and I'll do some more thinking before I pick.

It is reassuring to know. If Mayweather wins then I guess that also means that Witter/Branco will get his WBC 140 title.
medium-deek 12-24-2005, 11:45 AM Very hard to call, this one. The problem for Mayweather is that he has never, ever faced anyone that has been in the same league as Judah. I give the bout to Judah.

Me too, i think Judah is faster and stronger than PBF. I dont think his defense will hold on.
marvdave 12-24-2005, 11:58 AM i can't help but wonder.......what does Chris Eubank think?
but seriously folks. I think it is a good fight, but Floyd will win.

Chris Eubank used to know some of the Judah family, and he met Floyd Mayweather at the Hamed-Barrera fight.
And, 50 Cent and Eubank hung out with eachother at the Gumball Rally (could you find two more opposite personalities??)

yeah... sure...

yea that i can see that happening
!!! Beowulf !!! 12-24-2005, 12:23 PM Personally I think Judah is a turd and I hope he gets KTFO. He may be too big for Floyd, but with his almost non existent chin he will get found out again. Judah is fast and fairly skilled, but Mayweather is faster and more skilfull and has a better defence.
I just dont agree. Even if Floyd slows down a little, hes still going to be faster than Judah. I think it will be quite awhile before I pick against Floyd.
I have to go with this. I don't see anybody beating Floyd anytime soon. PBF is far more skilled in every aspect than Zab. Zab couldn't handle KT or CS, he damn sure won't handle PBF. PBF has got good power, even when evrybody thought he would be slower against Sharmba, he showed great speed and great power. Zab can't hang. Personally I think Zab is a little overrated.
medium-deek 12-24-2005, 02:31 PM even when evrybody thought he would be slower against Sharmba, he showed great speed and great power.
Who exactly thought he would be slower against Mitchell? Sharmba is a bum of a fighter.
oldgringo 12-24-2005, 02:34 PM I can see it going one of two ways:
Floyds technical superiority and defense help him control the fight through the middle rounds. Judah is reluctant to let his hands go and instead opts to get into a spitting match with Floyd, trying to be flashier than his buddy. In the later rounds Judah catches Floyd and drops him, but cannot capitalize on the opportunity as Floyd makes it out of the round. Floyd then finishes out the fight and takes a comfortable UD.
That same scenario plays out, with Judah finding the mark with his right hand more often. The difference in speed is very slight in this scenario. In the later rounds, Judah catches Floyd with a filthy left that Floyd doesn't see and puts him on queer street. Ref stops the fight because Floyd is stumbling around the ring like a maniac.
I favor Floyd but Judah has as good a chance to beat him as anyone.
Judah is reluctant to let his hands go and instead opts to get into a spitting match with Floyd, trying to be flashier than his buddy. This is why I'm kinda reluctant to chip in my 5 hard earned dollars... To see a fight turn into whose got the better endzone celebration.

yeh...and it's actually something that could turn out to be a reality. I can see it now...Floyd starts shuffling his feet...Judah counters by crip walking across the ring...Floyd counters by breakdancing... :(

and then the flushing flash descends into the ring -fan man style- only to be KTFO'd by Roger Mayweather and Yoel Judah.
chololo 12-24-2005, 03:08 PM zab is not gonna beat floyd
Who exactly thought he would be slower against Mitchell? Sharmba is a bum of a fighter.
I don't remember who exactly said what, but there were people on here saying that PBF was going to be slower because he went from 139 (Gatti fight) to 147 (Sharmba fight). I didn't see any difference in speed. PBF looked good at 147.
Saint3605 12-24-2005, 03:28 PM I like Zab to win this fight, he may not have a chin, but when has floyd had any real ko power, especially now that he's moving up. He fought Sharmba (who isn't a true 147lb fighter himself either) and looked good, but he's about to step up to the elite 147 pounder who has had time to adjust to that weight. PBF is in for a surprise.

He is 35-0 with 24 KO's. He has KO power. By the time this fight comes up he will have time to settle.

the fight will be scored by figure skating judges on a 6 point system.

And, 50 Cent and Eubank hung out with eachother at the Gumball Rally (could you find two more opposite personalities??) They talked about how I was stalking Eubank, and what technique Chrith should use to evade me. I love Eubank, and always will. He's mine. MINE I TELL YOU! GET YOUR HANDS OFF HIM!!!!!!!!

Mayweather fough many guys that are bigger and much stronger but he got one thing that is far excced any other boxer around today and that is skills and style.
I go for Mayweather KO in the 10th :boxing:
mayweather 02-20-2006, 02:35 PM I think ANYONE who is preditcing a Judah win needs to pull their head out of their ass and stop wiping it with judahs chin because its so soft. Judah is gunna get ****ed up and hes gunna get gang beat in Brooklyn cus hes a ******.

don't you love it when people make crazy predictions? But when they're wrong everyone forgets and it dosn't matter, but if you're right your a genius? I found it funny reading how zab was going to win. He had no chance.
JuicyJuice 08-22-2006, 03:31 PM Judah definately could and probably would of won if he wasn't mentally a retard.
El Jesus 08-22-2006, 04:22 PM this thread makes me laugh because of the amount of people now saying "he was a bum, floyd picks his fights so he can win" blah blah blah
Double 08-22-2006, 04:27 PM Judah definately could and probably would of won if he wasn't mentally a retard.
or if he didn't run out of gas, I think Floyd adapted to his style tho'. Judah fought a very good fight that night give the man some credit.
