Sure, Andrew might not deserve it, but this is essentially the loose end to the mid ninetees heaviweight picture. I figure that golota came back because he didn't have to be afraid of lennox anymore ( he would have destroyed Marciano)

I think Golota deserves the title shot simply because he is one of the few heavyweights that are entertaining to watch. He is good all-round fighter and that is very rare in today's heavyweight division. I think he will dismantle Lemon Bumster rather easily and hopely that will open him a change to take on the other champions.

It crazy to think that Golata should probably be the WBA and IBF champion.

Maybe the Foul Pole should do a low blow on King? But I think Golota is already piss. Really now. Should we really be surprise at things when DK is invlove?

Well why shouldent he get another shot, he beat both Byrd and Ruiz. And is one of the best out there.

do ya think if golota had got the decision against
byrd hed have got a shot at ruiz or brewster ?

i dont think so.
so although it seems as if golota could of won 3 belts
(if her beats brewster) its really just the one hes
getting the shot at,

don "heart failure" king :D

I think if Golota gets screwed again by DK, he should try and join the K2 team.... (if that's even possible.. contracts and such)

Golota should be happy that he even gets to fight for a title on tv after all the shananagins he pulled in the past. And if he does become champ it just shows what a farce the heavy division has become!

Golota helped out the HW division TONS when he Low blow'd that guy like 50 times in that one fight. Then the cell phone busted on someone's head, then the crowd started fighting and all hell broke loose!! that was the biggest shot in the arm of HW boxing in a long while.. if we could just have another one of those, maybe more people would tune in...
:D

Golota is due for a mentle breakdown.
lmao
yep
things have been goin a lil to good
it say he has another krazee episode in this next fight
lets not 4get brewster was able to take all kinds of shots from wlad
he may be able to frustrate golota
and cause him to break down again
or even resort to his foul tactics

If he isn't given this win, then he deserves to have a mental breakdown!

If he stays focused, there are few fighters he couldn't beat. The problem is, focus is something he has never seen much use for. He should have jabbed Ruiz to death, but he let Ruiz tie him up, and didn't fight inside at all. I can only hope he jabs more against Brewster, hey, Brewster doesn't seem to enjoy hugging men as much as Ruiz does, few do, so maybe Golata will fair better in this one lol

Sure, he cant even rule in this weak ass division. Give him the wbo title. Might as well give him the ibo title as well. Let him fight worthless euro trash and look good.

Golota looked promising ONCE a long time ago. Now he is an average fighter in a below average division.

Well, this is the heavyweight division we have in 2005, so, if you're a boxing fan, and want to watch heavyweight boxing, get used to it, it just might get worse before it gets better.

I really dont watch the heavy division. not with interest at least.

I like the lower weights, there is Huge amounts of talent in the lower weight classes.

then what are ya doing on a heavyweight topic???still!!!

i know even michael grant beat golota so theres
hope for brewter but golota should do it.

all i wanna see is golota get a belt and fight v-klit

I know this is easier said then done but if he knocks brewster out he can't get robbed! Kali (Feather-Fists) Meehan was seconds from stopping Brewster so Golota should do it in the late rounds if he can keep the pressure on.

That fight was such a shame. If you look at the scoring of that fight on boxrec.com you will notice that Golota was ahead very comfortably on the scorecards. He only needed to get out of the 10th round and box the other two rounds and he would have won probably by UD or SD.

This might sound crazy but if Golota fought Lewis again after their first encounter, I think Golota might have given Lewis hell. Everyone know's what happened before the Lewis vs Golota fight took place.

You can say the same thing about Tyson.
Tyson actually held all the titles at once. He actually made something of his talents for a short time.

When did golata ever win a title?

Tyson has disgraced himself if not the same, more times than Golota has. We are not talking about championships here, we are discussing disgracefull things that these guy's have done.

and those disgraceful things led to more sales...
we all wanted to see Tyson munch on that ear..
we all wanted to see Golota and the audience mayhem brawl.
we all wanted to see Golota have a breakdown.
we all wanted to see Tyson say he'll eat children..

so, your sayin the biggest draw to Golota - Brewster is that the foul pole might lose his **** and get DQ'd. i don't think that will happen, the Golota we have nowadays isn't the same Golota, he's a lot older, more beat down by life, he let Ruiz take control of their fight, i wonder if the foul pole is getting used to losing. He should beat Brewster, Golota has the better all around skills, but i'll still be cheeering for "the black rocky" lamon brewster

beeatch,,i mean mr. beeatch,,i actullay agree with you. Golota does NOT have ko power. Thats why he lost to ruiz and byrd in 12 round decisions. And the black rocky absorbes punches. If he could handle wlad's beating,he can handle golota all night.

I am sorry gwen but Golota did not lose to Byrd and even though Ruiz won the decision, he did not win the fight in mine and many other's eye's.

what I said wasn't meant to be regarding any outcome of fights etc. but when a smart fighter does something that causes contraversy, they can rest assured that their next fight will most likely have more viewers than the previous one. It is not only a sport, but also entertainment.

I'm not sure about "Blocky" being the great absorber, he did get knocked down, but at least not knocked out against the drugged WK. The real test would be to put him in with Ivan Draggo pumped up on stereroids.. :D

I think Golata will get sick and tired of beating up on Brewster on the ropes, and leaves the ring after the 5th, and goes to Denny's and gets a Grand Slam with bacon.

Golata should win this one, based on skill level, but you never know with him, he should have beaten Ruiz, Bowe, and Grant, too.
