Fistecles 01-08-2005, 11:32 AM I jump rope for 7 rounds. I try crossing my feet over while i jump, bring the right over the left, then back to centre, then left over right. Today I'm goning to do something new during shadowboxing. I'm going to jump rope between rounds as my rest period. I'm try to improve my recovery. Today I'm goning to do something new during shadowboxing. I'm going to jump rope between rounds as my rest period. I'm try to improve my recovery. do the "heel-toe" with tha jump rope then when theres like 30 seconds left do high knees or double up and try runnin around with it and do some criss crosses Fistecles 01-09-2005, 07:47 AM I dont know what you mean by heel-toe. ophqui 01-09-2005, 08:43 AM i skip for five 3 minute rounds (sprint skipping for the last 30 secs of each round) with 30 seconds rest between each round. Sometimes i do a circuit exercise such as press ups or crunches during the rest periods. I also add 10 seconds to a round if i make a mistake (as in rope hits feet and i have to stop or whatever.) leff 01-09-2005, 10:40 AM I skip 2 min rounds with one minut shadow between times 5. I split the rounds in intervals like 15sec normalpace 15sec sprint 15 normal 15 sec double and so on. speedbag 01-09-2005, 02:40 PM To get an idea about incredible rope work, check out Ross Enamait from RossBoxing.com http://www.warriorforce.com/rossboxingvideoclip.wmv Here are some other Jumprope links Jump rope videos ( got cool charts here to put up in the gym..) http://www.jumprope.com/cgi-bin/SoftCart.100.exe/scstore/rm.html?E+scstore Jump rope workout info http://www.centralhome.com/ballroomcountry/jump_rope_workout_video.htm Some specific information http://www2.gsu.edu/~wwwfit/jumprope.html Good luck and safe jumping speedbag put a little rhythm in your workout http://www.speedbag.info speed bag video clips http://www.speedbagcentral.com/Demos.html JPPLAY 01-14-2005, 03:33 PM To get an idea about incredible rope work, check out Ross Enamait from RossBoxing.com http://www.warriorforce.com/rossboxingvideoclip.wmv Rather good video makes you want to train.
