What do you all think about this one?? Does Eastman really pose that much of a big fight for hopkin's 20th defense? Didn't he say that he wanted to make his 20th a great and memorable defense? I am not to convinced feel free to clue me in.

Competitive match-up IMO

I dont think Eastmans a great fighter, his skills arent brilliant but he can punch, and anyone who can punch can make it interesting.

I think its a Hopkins win but Eastman has a good punchers chance, better than most middleweights anyway.

Eastman is a live fighter. He is in his prime, a puncher, good chin and knows this is his shot against a great, but 40 yr old champ. He knows a victory here could make a career. I think he`ll realize this and give it his all. Hopkins better not take this one lightly. Hopkins has always used anger and resentment as a motivational tool to peform in fights. He has to believe that they are trying to rob him of defence number 20. If he can galvaize this, he can muster the win. This fight goes to the scorecards with Hopkins winning within a few points. I pick this to be a differcult, perhaps grueling fight. Hopkins needs defence 20, Eastman needs the win, its a great fight, Hopkins will be competitive and win, dont miss it!

What does Eastman bring to the ring that other fighters have not?

Hopkins may be pushing 40 (or already 40), but his style wont allow for Eastman to do the things that make him sucessful.

Don't expect anything flashy, expect Hopkins to win 9-10 out of the 12 rounds and go on to better things.

That's exactly how I see. I don't think Eastman will win anymore than three rounds and even that's pushing it. Hopkins has a pretty good chin from what I've seen, so I don't think Eastman's power will pose that much of a threat..

B-hop by late ko. Eastmen will be a live body but will get executed. Hopkins defies logic and time. The man is damn near immortal, I really hope he fights tito or retires after the fight.

Oh, hopkins never takes anyone lightly!!
