what do you guys think of Chapman?

will he become a force?

------------------

my summary of the fight:

I scored it about 7:5 or 8: 4 for Chapmens.

Chapmens started very well, in round 1-6, with one round perhaps for Guiterraz.

Guiterraz won rounds 7-10 and could have KOed Chapmens, if only could he punch. Chapmens came out strong in 11 and beginning of 12. Guiterraz cam back strong and landed great shots on Chapmens.

Chapmens has shown good skills and has a good future. He is only 22.

I did not see the fight but getting a lopsided UD in a 12 round fight does more for him than a KO what do you guys think I really think this was the best sinerio for him and considering who his tranier is the kid can listen and take instruction.

Well he looked kind of sloppy and slow and was getting caught with left hooks the whole fight but ended up winning. The crowd boo'd the decision but it was right. Ok Peter is starting.

I would tell Chapman that he needs to hit the weights because he is 6'6" with no power and a love tap jab, but he is only 22 so he has plenty of time to get stronger.

I think he needs to work on the punching technique as well as weights; he has 90% KO ratio in his wins, but this was against bums, and Guiterraz is no bum and gave him a good fight.

A lot of Chapman's lack of power also could have been not taking risks after eating those left hooks. He is young and should improve. Ibragimov was most impressive though! I can't wait to see who he fights next. I Cory Sanders had a little brother it would be Sultan. He also did that little lay on the ropes and counter with the left like Sanders.

Sultan is one tough Dagestani fighter.

I think he is tuff for any fighter. He'll be in someone's top ten now for sure.

I absolutly agree and not a single boxing writer touted his amature petegree and none in all of amature HW history has better except for ali frazer and forman sultan beat savon twice unfortunetly he lost to audley in the finals of 00 and did not beat savon in an olympic match

I just checked and Ibragimov is already ranked #5 by the wbo and #15 by the ibf. So if anything he will be in the top 10 of the ibf now and should move up atleast 1 spot in the wbo.
