With all the talk about Danny "losing" his bout to Michael Sprott at the beginning of last year, I thought I'd upload an mpg of one of the key rounds - round five.

Before this Danny hasn't even bothered to box - he's just been toying with Sprott, avoiding all his punches with head movement, in an arms down style.

Bearing in mind UK title fights are only judged on a referee's scorecard, this round tells you everything you need to know about why Danny "lost". It's also a very eccentric performance.

100MB for one round? wow, must be GREAT quality. I'll give it a little bit, but it seems like it's hosing Windows Media Player.. normally for a stream it would start and give you the details of how far along the download is, but it's quite blank, not sure why though :)

so was the outcome of the fight a decision then? If not, do you have KO round? It's rubbish how Williams was actin up like that, I can't stand that over-showmanship ****iness of some boxers..

That's one thing that I've hated about British boxing since one fight that I watched not too long ago (last few years), how the ref gets the final say in a decision.. I wish I remembered the fighters names :(

there was a guy that honestly looked like papa smurf, SERIOUSLY, white beard white hair, white guy. His hair and beard were dyed white for some reason (I can't remember though). He battled the **** out of this up and coming future star, a light-skinned young black fella. It was honestly a WHOOPIN (papa smurf kicked his arse)! but I guess that they felt the prospect was to win either way. They interviewed and showed the guy who lost after and he was raging! It was the worst decision I had ever seen in boxing.

I wish I could find out his name and try to find that fight again (or other of his fights)..

Cheers guy... the ref gave it to Sprott by a point... in the last two rounds Sprott wasn't even firing back, he was just a punchbag. Though I guess he was the aggressor. I do like a bit of showboating myself, I must admit, but Danny was crazy that night.

you don't happen to know the name of the boxer that I'm talking about do you? The one that looked like Papa Smurf?
He was a good fighter, too bad he was robbed...

You know, it DOES ring a bell but I'll have to sleep on it.
