Its definitely Floyd but the power disparity is huge. Different weights of course. They are hard to compare unless you use them compared to their opponents and then they become somewhat similar

Have you seen them fight? Put it this way...Floyd looks fast vs Gatti and Castillo...Roy looks inhuman vs Toney and Hopkins.

I would say Jones is faster but to say Mayweather only looks fast against slow fighters is crazy. Jones has the edge in speed but it wouldn't be that big of a margin.

PBF has to be faster due to his lesser size but P4P faster would have to be Jones.

its a weight issue which means is that mayweather is faster cause he has lighter hands then jones cause jones weighs more. jus my opinion. :)

Floyd looks faster, because he is more twitchy with his speed while Jones is more smooth with his.....there's no telling. End of thread.

I'd say Jones, in his prime, was the fastest fighter I'd ever seen. PBF is close.

I agree with this 100%. But rightnow I leaning on Roy Jones.

Floyd punches with a lot of combos so he might look faster. But roy had amazing reflexes. The dude made a led left hook look like a jab. Remember when he knock out hill with his golves behind his back? No ones faster then roy period.

Most accept that young 19-20 yr old Hector Camacho had the fastest, quickest hand and footspeed ever. Even Ray Leonard admitted as much back when Ray was still the unretired headliner.

Floyd has never ripped off the combos that Roy ripped off like vs Tony Thornton, Toney, Paz, etc. Roy is faster, straight up and p4p. That's no knock on Floyd but Roy is just faster.

Its very difficult to say, maybe pure handspeed its PBF, but in reflex its RJJ. But Meldrick Taylor had quicker combo's than both of them!

Straight up Roy Jones is faster, the guy was grease lightning, could leap in and throw combinations from freakish angles. Toney couldn't see them coming.
