If you ever go up to Manchester to see the Hitman fight i may see you their. I have every intention of going to see him fight this year. It would be a laugh no doubt meeting Slim. :D A few more of the Brits could meet up too at a venue like that. I know Elveiel lives in Manchester. Ive seen Terry Norris in Vegas casino lobby on a payphone. (Very long time ago) Diego Corrales vegas casino floor walking. Just saw Juan Diaz in Burbank at some fights with these two very lovely asian girls, shook his hand and said waz up. Its amazing how tiny he is in person.The most memorable was Julio Cesar Chaves,at the Forum in Inglewood. He was ring side but my uncles and still ran down to shake his and get his autograph.Bad news is that I think my mom threw the book away. :( I was playing rulette in the Ballys hotel and casino with Christy Martin, she is very pretty in person. Don King at the Mandalay coming off an elevator. He is tall and skinny, he was wearing a t-shirt looks like he has a little beer belly. Im sure there is more but i cant remember right now.

Yeah youre always nice to me..even when we're debating Ricky Hatton, and that right there says alot cause some fans here just get way too personal when you put down or question their favorite fighter! :eek: It's people like that that I dont understand why they come to forums at all; these mess. boards are for people to debate, which means disagree from time to time, but some of them simply dont know how to do that. So debating with you is refreshing and fun!

getting back to the title of the thread !!!! Ive met many people due to covering fights in the UK. None form here unfortunately but many from Boxrec. Some of whom Im now pleased to include as friends, its amazing how a common interest can bring people together.
