i have a feeling that taylor is going to wait a while to fight winky.. basically wait around until hes faded.. winky wants the big fight now. hes getting older

Taylor-Winky would be pretty sweet.

my guess is they each have one more fight before eachother, and they fight eachother in summer/fall 06

If Taylor fights Winky next, doesn't he sort of cement himself with the public perceptions as a "boring fighter" after two Hopkins and one WInky fight? I think he needs a fight where he can showcase his offense like how he did against Eduard

taylor 'should' fight winky but id like to see winky against abraham, however i feel abe will get a easy first defence then start looking for the big names i believe either could beat taylor

He should hold out for the big-money against Taylor. The earliest that'll come is next summer. Abraham is gonna take an easy defense first, and so is Taylor.

taylor would win ...to be winky all u have to do is let ur hands go...trinidad stood their and looked at wright and ate jabs the whole fight...mosley tried in the 2nd fight but he dosent have the height..and taylor will actually do it

Winky and Taylor each have one fight before they fight each other (should they win). I figure give em Sturm and Abraham. I would pick Winky and Taylor to beat either of those two, but it would still be fun to watch. Then...lets see who is the best middleweight.

Taylor just fought two tough fights and has earned a breather and will almost certainly fight a lesser opponent next. An opponent he can open a can of whoopass on and erase the memory of the Hopkins bores.

That will build up interest for a Winky showdown, which is going to be an interesting fight for the serious boxing fan but a bore for the casual fan.

I think Winky right now is a tougher nut to crack than Hopkins was. Winky will not give away 6 rounds like Hopkins did, and Taylor seems to have stamina issues which I thought would be fixed for the 2nd Hopkins fight, but really weren't. He just wasn't as wild in the early rounds and kept a bit more gas in the tank, but he will be pressured for all 12 rounds by Winky.
