View Full Version : Which is Worse? Judge on pac vs Marquez OR Judge on Hop vs Taylor 1?
Manny_P 12-05-2005, 10:47 PM this should be interesting. Which you think is mo ****ed up?
Judge Jutras on Pacquiao vs Marquez in which he scored a supposed 10-6 round fo Pacquiao becuz of 3 KD rule, 10-7 on the 1st round of the fight.
Judge Ford of Hopkins vs Taylor 1 in which Ford gave the 12th round to Taylor in which Hopkins clearly won?
Pacquiao vs Marquez resulted in a DRAW. Had the judge Jutrah properly judged the fight, Pac woulda won that fight by a point.
Hop vs Taylor 1 resulted in SD fo Taylor. Had Judge Ford gave the round Hop deserved, it woulda been a draw. Something I bet woulda been easier to stomach fo Hopkins fanbois.
Manny_P 12-05-2005, 10:54 PM Bump!!!!!!!!
blockhead 12-05-2005, 10:56 PM both are frustrating but taylor hopkins a little more. huge disapointment.
czars_salad 12-05-2005, 11:27 PM it has to be the judging in the hopkins-taylor1 fight. the consequence was a little more devastating

yea, true that!
MetalVomit 12-06-2005, 12:55 AM You'd have to say judge Ford. He KNEW what he was doing by giving that last round to Taylor, when CLEARLY, Taylor didnt win it. You could probably give Taylor himself a lie detector test, and he'd tell you he lost that last round(NOT THE FIGHT Taylor fans, just that round, ok, relax)
The Pac/Marquez judge, had more of a mental lapse. Surely, he wasnt expecting that one point miscue to decide the fight in the end(1st round), unlike Judge Ford(12th round)

good point.
I mean who knows. Maybe that judge Jutrah probably thought Pac would end Marquesz in round 2 or 3 anyways. LOL!
you right though.
Bozo_no no 12-06-2005, 01:18 AM I'm going to say Jutras.
As bad as it was that Ford scored the 12th round of the 1st Hopkins Taylor fight for Taylor, he didn't break a rule in doing so.
Jutras failed to score the 1st round of the Marquez Pacquiao 10-6 (he scored it 10-7) with the 3 knock downs when the other two judges got it right at 10-6.
When questioned about it immediatly after the fight he said he was sorry, and that he didn't realize he could have scored it 10-6. He said that if he had realized it at the time, he would have corrected what he admitted was an error on his part.
He should have at the very least as a sanctioned judge understood the very fundementals of the scoring in the commision in which he was judging.
Ford was guilty of looking ignorant, Jutras was guilty of being ignorant.

you continue to impress, Bozo. excellent post, bro.
Rapid_Speed 12-06-2005, 02:11 AM They both stink.
Bozo hit the nail in the head but I'm going to disagree that it was definitely Ford's decision that was worse. There was a lot more on the line and while Jutras was ignorant, Ford knew better but had his own agenda it seems.
flipside 12-06-2005, 05:57 AM i think the pacquiao-marquez judge really sucks.. it was a clear win for that round for pacman but he didnt score it correctly.. but the taylor-hopkins 1 would be stupid too because of how it affected the division...
