Frazier or Ali. ****, Thrilla in Manilla ensures these 2 the top 2 spots, thought I'm gonna go with a tie.

Since the beginning of the Queensberry era, I'd have to say James Jeffries for the Heavyweights.

It have liked to see Marciano try to keep on fighting like Ali and Frazier.

You gotta give it to Joe that night. He was legally blind in his right eye He had taken a bad beating in the early rounds, and then started to "smoke" and tore into Ali for 7 rounds. Then he started getting bombarded and couldn't even see. Yet he was still hitting Ali with some punches. That's ****ing stamina.

But Ali's unbelievabel stamina won him the fight.

Over 100 degrees that night. Ali had just taken the most brutal beating in his life. Somehow, on his stool between the 11th and 12th round, he reached down inside of his soul and found himself 8 years before that fight. He pulled off one of the greatest feats in sports while sitting on a stool. And he came back performed arguably the 2 greatest round of his, or anyone's career. That's ****ing stamina.

i was watching ali-chuvalo I, and ali was dancing in the fourteenth and fifteenth rounds. that is some stamina!

If you wanted to put restrictions on what someone could say, don't you think you should've said so in the very first post?

You know, you could've asked..."Who had the greatest stamina in any weight class since 1920?"

The way you worded your original question, it was left wide open to any fighter in history.

How about Henry Armstrong? Harry Greb also is known to have punched non-stop every single second of a fight.

You jughaids ain't gotta clue. Jim Corbett and Peter Jackson went 61 rds in a bout ruled a draw because both fighters could barely stand anymore. Jeffries kept his power into the 20+ round range.

Battling Nelson lost two lengendary 40+ round fights against Joe Gans and Ad Wolgast. I've seen that Wolgast bout, and those boys were pounding each other out like no tomorrow for 42 rds before Wolgast whacked him out.

Geez, at least someone had sense enough to mention Greb.

but if he didn't have stamina, then he wouldn't be able to do that in the late rounds.

His right eye was the bad one. But yea, if Joe could have seen out of his right eye that night, he probably would have Ko'ed Ali. But still, no matter what, what Ali did that night is unprecedented.

to you it does because you are not used to seeing out of only one eye. frazier is, so his coordination is not affected at all.

where the **** do you get this from?

if you boxed yourself you would know this

what the **** do think? that frazier trained with his right eye closed?

and it will effect coordination, thats how we work.

if you closed your right and kept it closed for say a year, you will get used to it, and your coordination would be back to normal. ever heard of adaptation?

When Frazier started to lose vision in his right eye, he was never the same. He started to lose it right before the Jimmy Ellis fight, and from then on, Frazier almost always threw left hooks. He was much better off fighting with both hands, though he was still a magnificient boxer.

i heard something on sportscentury that frazier started to lose right eye vision not long after he began his proffessional debut.

Well yea, but it started to become serious before the Ellis fight. That's about when Frazier relied so much on his left hook.

no frazier was not blind in his right for a number of years, he just couldnt see that well out of it. right before his last fight with ali was when he became legally blind in his right eye

Seriously I fuc*ed this girl for 2 days straight with little breaks inbetween, she had great stamina!I just layed down. LOL

But as far as a fighter I would have to say Marciano. The reason why I say Marciano and not Ali is bc Ali took breaks, Marciano was a truck that never stopped.

He was willing to give up half the round so that he could conserve energy, then come out with his signature flurries. Im not saying that Ali took long breaks or anything, all im saying is that Marciano did not rest or take time to conserve like Ali did.

well, you can say that to conserve ali danced, but never in his prime did ali do nothing. he either danced or threw punches.

Marciano hands down

that guy never stopped training- his trainer even said that he ran everyday of the year (even christmas day) 5 miles a day unless he had a fight schdelued then he would run 10 miles

but the point is he had loads of heart and stamina- he hit a 300lb heavy bag as hard as he could for many rounds (many-over 15 rounds)

thats stamina right there
