I'm suprised no one has brought this up. It's gone pretty much under the radar around here.

Thoughts on this matchup?

I think Bell will get exposed on this one. He got a gift decision against Brown, and unless he improves I say Mormeck winning this one.

Fairly intriguing matchup. Both of these guys can bang.

Jones and Cunnigham are much better fighters then Bell.

yeah, this will be a decent way to start things off in 06 for Showtime, it'll be the first live fight i've seen of Jean-Marc Mormeck. also Zab Judah's fight is on the undercard. saturday, january 7th

Bell was already exposed against Brown.

Mormeck is a tough bastard and has an iron will. He's going to break down Bell and KO/TKO him in an entertaining fight.

I used to think Big Truck was the best Cruiser in the world until I watched Mormeck eat everything Truck threw at him. Mormeck has emerged as the standard in the division.

There hasn't been much talk about it because it will be a walk over for Mormeck.

Bell has no business in this fight. He lost to Dale Brown.

Really, Jones should have got this shot, but I think he'll be next in line anyway.

It's good in that it's another title for Mormeck, but he'll break Bell down and stop him midway through the fight.

Mormeck is a hook thowing machine with a ton of chin and endurance. He's a scary fighter at Cruiser. The way he works the body makes me sore just watching it.
