Pugnacious_Z 12-04-2005, 03:11 PM gotta decrease ur calorie intake, u cud run all day and still have fat legs if u eat like a horse tebe6sm 12-04-2005, 04:47 PM yeah burn more calories than you take in, you can't spot reduce anywhere, fat comes off in layers Hunna 12-05-2005, 03:52 AM run and skip in long pants Manfredo Jr 12-05-2005, 03:27 PM yeah and dont eat rubbish like candy and drink rubbish like pop , eat friut and drink milk ;) BigDozer260 12-05-2005, 09:23 PM yeah and dont rat rubbish like candy and drink rubbish like pop , eat friut and drink milk ;)U have to train to catabolize fats bruh Kayo 12-05-2005, 11:45 PM you cant spot reduce fat plain and simple its the same with losing fat around your stomach u cant spot reduce it you have to lose overal body fat so you need to lower your bf% BigDozer260 12-05-2005, 11:56 PM And u lower your bodyfat by both slightly decreasing your caloric intake and increaing you energy expenditure through exercise. There is no best way, running, biking, swimming it doesn't matter 50% of the body's mass needs to be active abovie 60% maximum heart rate for at least 20 min a day, more if u are overly fat, but progress up to it gradually. Weight train, lean muscle burns more calories all the time as opposed to cardiovascular training which only burns calories while acive. I aint ova weight, but im jest thinking it's good fo boxing if you got less fat/mas on yo legs. Hop got skinny legs, so does Taylor. Ma legs are kind propotionate to ma arms, but I want to lose weight off ma legs too. Does weight lifting usin ma legs help? Or will that make it look bigga in proportion and mo muscly? restless_438 12-06-2005, 12:33 AM also, what might also make it difficult is that men, when they lose weight, generally first lose it in the upper body region before lower.. my guess is that to lose fat on your lower body you'd had to change diet, training, etc to help. Or will that make it look bigga in proportion and mo muscly? you wouldnt get huge legs instantly but when lifting weights work your whole body as it helps with overall growth cause i dunno what it is but training your legs produces alot of testostrone burns alot of calories n just helps with overall muscle growth BigDozer260 12-06-2005, 07:43 AM also, what might also make it difficult is that men, when they lose weight, generally first lose it in the upper body region before lower.. my guess is that to lose fat on your lower body you'd had to change diet, training, etc to help. What!? How did u come to that conclusion? opethdrums 12-06-2005, 03:34 PM stairmaster seems to do the trick opethdrums 12-07-2005, 03:42 AM well all i know is that there is yellow fat which is hard to get rid of and brown fat which is readily available for use. fat collects in men around the stomach more and in ladies around the thighs. has a lot to do with your bodyfat % i guess. if i do a lot of workouts involving the shoulder 1 day, i can usually see less fat on my shoulders the next day. |
