Ring Magazine featherweight champion Manny Pacquiao arrived one day late for a scheduled shooting of a Darlington socks TV commercial but assured his countrymen “not to worry” because he will be ready for his February 26 rematch with WBA/IBF champion Juan Manuel Marquez in Las Vegas, Nevada even as he stressed “I have no problems with my condition and you will see this on fight night.” Pacquiao lifted his long-sleeved t shirt to display his rippling abdominal muscles which quieted those who felt he was taking his preparation for the Marquez rematch too easily. I love this news, straight from the PAcman himself and not a rehash of old rumors. I hope this will silent those people who are saying that Manny is taking his rematch with Marquez lightly.

Pac has been installed as a 7-5 favorite to beat JMM by Las Vegas oddsmakers. I wonder what the odds in BoxingScene's Fantasy betting section will be next month ;)

with half the population being pinoys, i wonder what they could be

im still betting a billion on JMM thats right i have a billion of points in the bank, nah im just kidding more like 50million on JMM via decision

"I can take him easily."
“we have a surprise for him.”
“we will use my right hand more than my left”

he better not underistimate JMM cuz that would be the biggest mistake he can do, sleeping at 9PM and missed his flight plane, "how does that happen?"

J.M.M. via UD im betting the mansion on it

woohoo finally yall gonna let those points hang
ona a classic rematch encounter.

ok i pledge a minimum of 50million on pac but
still undecided on ko or the decision.

dont think pacs gonna finish jmmm off so
probably decision.

im worried though. if pac makes same mistake as
morales recently did against barrera it could
become one of those fights where he hunts the ko
and loses easily on points,

i love pac but man he got me scared :D

****ing unpredictable mexican peasants

Finally!! The best news about The Destroyer in a long time!! :)

Pacman from his own experience knows only too well that cramming can result to cramps, injuries and less endurance.

JMM and co. should be biting their nails!! :D

so pacquiao will only be training 6 to 7 weeks?

Pacquiao boasted “if Marquez wants to go 15 rounds I’ll be ready” stating that “even with 6 to 7 weeks training,he's no problem. I can take him easily.

BTW looks like betting for this fight is gonna be big! Im gonna go 50 million on JMM by KO.

I think that's around the same training time that he did against Barerra.

there is really no reason to excuse manny from going into training right after christmas day, and i became more disappointed when i learned that he was going to stay longer for a TV commercial (which is the usually the start for the downfall of Filipino athletes, showbiz sucks!). but manny and jmm are two different persons. manny is gifted with great endurance and does not need much training as jmm in that category, so i think 6-7 weeks of training will be enough to hone the destroyer's other boxing needs. and i know this has been repeated in other boards, "he fought 3K and had some training for that fight too" so pac should be conditioned too. it's almost the same as the time frame marquez trained which started september...
