its quite big although there are all sorts of styles...theyre kinda similar though
our main ones are garage and grime
some artists you should check out:
sway - funny. beat 50 to a mobo. unsigned
the mitchell brothers - funny twosome
kano (undisputed best)
the streets - most popular and powerful
wiley - different
lethal bizzle
dizzee rascal - perhaps most popular
older times:
artful dodger
the streets - he was better then
craig david - was garage now rnb - good at both
master of ceremonies
dj pied piper
all in all there is some good stuff here
gives a gritty real interpretation of london life and we do talk quite similarly to the artists
its getting bigger all the time

ive been listening to alot of uk hiphop as of late. being from australia, i can relate to it a lot better than that of the us underground.

dj disorda runs a radio show called "Suspect Radio" that plays heaps of australian hiphop. check it out, dope intro.
