Anyone into this stuff? I am becoming acquainted.

I have read The Art of War by Sun Tzu
parts of The Hagakure
and the Unfettered Mind by Takuan

Next I hope to read The Book of 5 Rings by Miyamoto Musashi.

Anyone have any other suggestions?

Are you interested in books about Buddhism written for westerners? I can give you a good list of books and authors.

Not really interested in Buddhism itself. But I will admit there are places where it intersects with what I read.

I'm a practicing Catholic, but I find the thoughts and sayings of Confucius and the Brahma Khumaris (Indian meditation) very enlightening and useful in my daily life!

You might like this book:

It's a classic on Zen, so much so that many people blame it for inciting the most nauseating elements of Western-style Zen and Buddhism.

Might not be what you're looking for. Just a thought.
