View Full Version : Andre Ward Vs. Kenny Kost Best Damn Co-Feature!
borikua 01-03-2005, 05:30 PM January 03, 2005 - On Feb. 10, 2004 Olympic Gold Medallist Andre Ward will face undefeated Kenny Kost 7-0 (5KO) on Fox Sports Net as the best damn co-feature to the WBC super bantamweight title fight between Oscar Larios and the always exciting Wayne McCullough. Sources from Team Ward told **********.com, "He may be 7-0, but Kenny's about to pay the 'kost' for getting in there with Andre."
trinidadpr87 01-03-2005, 05:34 PM WARD got balls fighting a good fighter this early in his carrer.I CHECKED HIS RECORD HE'S 8-0
puppy_dogg 01-03-2005, 05:37 PM that does take balls. it takes years to get to the top anyway so he should'nt try to rush things. its cool to see andre as a pro now.
oldgringo 01-03-2005, 05:38 PM BDSSP is amazing and Fox Sports Net is a great channel. This sounds like a good show and I give Ward props for fighting an 8-0 guy so early. Should be a good watch...this is very good for boxing.
julDilla 01-03-2005, 05:41 PM Rafael Marquez debut was against a guy who was like 39-14 he got TKOed in the 8th rounds, imagine that a debut fight over 4 rounds and against a guy with lots of experience, ward is becoming a joke, he looks like another ruiz
-Top Rank-
"P4P is sleeping hearing about this bum ward ZZZzzz"
Eyeh8you 01-03-2005, 06:52 PM How can he beome a joke after only 1 fight as a pro? Yer a dumb ****er. I wish I could be more polite about it but yer just a fukin mexican nuthuggin *****!
Have a nice day!
Mr. Ryan 01-03-2005, 06:56 PM Records are deceiving...
You guys want to see balls for a pro debut, check out Oleg Maskeav, he fought somebody who was 20-0.
!!Captain 01-03-2005, 10:02 PM He is either really good or his manager is really stupid. We will see which one is the case soon.
QueenCity 01-03-2005, 10:16 PM Larios vs McCullough seems like it would be a pretty good fight as well
ottoevans 01-03-2005, 11:12 PM maaan theres a ton guys who have undefeated records 20-0 , 17-0 but they only faught bums. Ward is not gonna rick fighting a guy thats good. I guarentte he would KO this guy. Even if Ward wanted to people have invested to much money on Ward to let him fight a good guy.
Sir_Jose 01-04-2005, 01:51 AM Godo to see Ward sataying busy. Im glas FSN has stepped up to the plate with boxing.

By the way be sure to get your moms permision before opening that PM. I dont want her to get mad at me.
Of course people watch FSN for there boxing. In the last few mnonths they had Toney/Booker, Jirov/Moorer and Now are gonna have Larios and Ward on the same card.
More people watch FSN than watch Latino sports channels

jayschre 01-04-2005, 02:17 AM records don't tell the whole story, for example saying your 8-0 w/ 5 ko's sounds alot better then telling the whole story like Kenny Kost is 8-0 w/ 5 ko's against fighters w/ a combined record of 36-100-5 remember that's only split 8 ways so it pretty much is like being 1-0 against a guy with a record of like 4wins and 12.5 losses. early ko win for Ward but at least he's keeping himself active.

Always fall back on the king of records Reggie Strickland and his not so padded record of 65-268-17 with a whopping 14 ko's.
now that my friend is impressive! How in the **** can that dude have more draws than ko wins after over 300 pro bouts!!!!!!!1
