And this says it will be One Hell Of a Fight!
Super_Lightweight 12-01-2005, 10:48 AM I must say, Hopkins is starting to LOOK his age. Granted he started lookin crappier even vs Eastman, but now his FACE...I wonder how his body will look for this fight compared to fights past. I hope this fight is a good one. Taylor UD.
bigdlb12 12-01-2005, 11:19 AM man I hope B-hop kicks his ass via KO, I cant see JT as a true champ
theironone 12-01-2005, 11:31 AM hopkins for the win
restless_438 12-01-2005, 11:38 AM i love it, in the other conferences, Hopkins would be smiling along with the baby toy and all, but it's now all business, no smiles, and Taylor still seeming to take things lightly. Hopkins makes a 'poster' outta Taylor, DEC
thanks for the updated photos cooler..
theironone 12-01-2005, 11:40 AM hahaha my girls have those dolls

strangly enough, i think taylor is more intimidating in his suit and tie than bhop.
im kinda torn on this fight, bc i want bhop to win, but i think its better for the mw division if taylor wins.
her certianly looks more professional
taylor all the way baby! how can you root against this guy???
nezahualcoyotl 12-01-2005, 12:57 PM B-Hop was on Jim Rome and was backing T.O. saying both of them are from the streets are they aint MAMA'S BOYS like Donovan McNabb & Jermain Taylor! LMAO! Newayz B-Hop is gonna rape this guy...and hopefully Ike cann win so he can fight the winner of Mosley-Vargas...even though they are old they can still make semi-super fights...especially since all these paper champions avoid fighting each other and dont wannna unify other than Jeff Lacy.
SnoopySmurf 12-01-2005, 01:04 PM I can't see Hopkins losing by KO. Perhaps by split decision. But, IMO, the most likely result will be Hopkins winning by KO. He had Taylor out on his feet towards the end of the fight but Hopkins held back for too much posing.
IMO, he intentionally lost so he could get another mega-million deal in a rematch. There's no one left worth that much but Jermaine Taylor.
Also, should Hopkins win, that leaves Taylor's future somewhat anti-climactic since he'll be the only top contender/champ in an otherwise "empty" division (which they both cleaned out).
!!! Beowulf !!! 12-01-2005, 02:06 PM Nard by KO. Fitting end to his career. Taylor will have his time again, but Hopkins is pumped up for this one.

your not serious
SnoopySmurf 12-01-2005, 02:43 PM your not serious
I geniunely believe that Hopkins cares more about money than anything else in the world, apart from his family. And if he's rich, so's his family.
When asked just moments before his fight against Trinidad, "What's more important to you, the championship or the money?" he said "Money".
However, he had to make the fight with Taylor close so's to get his rematch. Which he did. Notice how he posed in the 11th and 12th when Taylor was almost out on his feet? He POSED. Damn...he pissed me off.
CHICO_4LIFE 12-01-2005, 04:28 PM DUMB MOVE by taylor, hopkins is ganna beat that boy to the ground!
