Easy-E 11-30-2005, 07:27 PM who has had the most impressive win in 2005? wheather its a big upset or just a dominating win. most impressive in my view was either floyd over gatti or brewster over golota flipside 11-30-2005, 07:30 PM bobby pacquiao over famoso hernandez shemmue 11-30-2005, 07:33 PM 1 .chico incredible comeback in one of the greatest fights of all time. 2. zahir raheem not many people thought he would beat morales was a big underdog and totally dominated el terible .. 3. humberto soto again not to many people thought he would be beat the up and coming prospect in rocky juarez and was able to pull it off.. deuce_drop 11-30-2005, 07:35 PM 1 .chico incredible comeback in one of the greatest fights of all time. 2. zahir raheem not many people thought he would beat morales was a big underdog and totally dominated el terible .. 3. humberto soto again not to many people thought he would be beat the up and coming prospect in rocky juarez and was able to pull it off.. good call, you said what i was going to say...word up...peace! borikua 11-30-2005, 07:37 PM 1 .chico incredible comeback in one of the greatest fights of all time. 2. zahir raheem not many people thought he would beat morales was a big underdog and totally dominated el terible .. 3. humberto soto again not to many people thought he would be beat the up and coming prospect in rocky juarez and was able to pull it off.. 4. Maussa win over Vivian Harris... SugaShane 11-30-2005, 07:46 PM Yeah, I'd say Maussa because no one even knew who this guy was and many people were even picking Vivian over Cotto, Hatton and maybe even Floyd. That was definitely a shocker. As far as dominating performances go, definitely Floyd over Gatti. Edit- Also, I picked Raheem over Morales. It was quit easy if you saw how fat Morales was and how Raheem soundly beat Juarez, a top prospect. Gattz187 11-30-2005, 07:49 PM it wasnt a win but i liked the cotto torres fight. torres come on like 2 week notice and he almost koed cotto. very extcing fight it was a back a foward fight. SugaShane 11-30-2005, 07:50 PM If Cotto didn't get risky and start trading that fight would of been over in 3 rounds. The Fix 11-30-2005, 08:02 PM zahir raheem's dominating win over EM impressed me most. i picked raheem to win the fight but by not that wide of a margin. {BrownBomber} 11-30-2005, 08:06 PM 1 .chico incredible comeback in one of the greatest fights of all time. 2. zahir raheem not many people thought he would beat morales was a big underdog and totally dominated el terible .. 3. humberto soto again not to many people thought he would be beat the up and coming prospect in rocky juarez and was able to pull it off.. I agree............ RastaSmoker 11-30-2005, 08:09 PM that USC was actually able to beat Fresno State would be considered a great win CHICO_4LIFE 11-30-2005, 09:40 PM id say raheem's convincing win over morales or castillo's early ko of corrales masterdirector 11-30-2005, 09:44 PM Raheem over Morales no doubt. They gave it to Soto but I think that fight was totally fixed. They were all over Soto's dick all night and for no reason. Seems too fishy to me. I wasn't at all surprised when they gave him the decision since HBO built him up when Juarez was supposed to be the huge favorite. They hardly talked good about Juarez. Something was up I think. Allan Green's BRUTAL knockout of Codrington was pretty f'n impressive and dominating. Shocked and scared me. And I was sooooo f'n disappointed. Tyson losing to f'n McBride was shocking too, although not as much as it would've been had Tyson not lost to Williams. Williams sucked, but McBride REALLY REALLY sucked bad. CHICO_4LIFE 11-30-2005, 10:00 PM corrales picking himself up of the canvas twice and knocking castillo out is the most impressive win in a long time if not ever! !!Captain 11-30-2005, 10:23 PM corrales picking himself up of the canvas twice and knocking castillo out is the most impressive win in a long time if not ever! Agree with that one. Hatton's win over Tszyu was pretty impressive. adeelr 11-30-2005, 10:51 PM chico over castillo castillo over chico pbf over gatti TyrantT316 11-30-2005, 11:00 PM I like Raheem/Morales...many thought that Raheem was just a "decent" fighter, but not good enough for the level of Morales especially after his disappointment vs Rocky Juarez...Raheem went out there and clearly won TyrantT316 11-30-2005, 11:02 PM I like Raheem/Morales...many thought that Raheem was just a "decent" fighter, but not good enough for the level of Morales especially after his disappointment vs Rocky Juarez...Raheem went out there and clearly won Ok I will also throw in Maussa over Harris...many felt Harris was like the "Tarver" of the division...that one day when he got his big chance, he would shockingly beat the #1 guy...I mean he IS very big/tall for the division and many seemed to not care to fight him...he was on his way to a possible showdown with Mayweather after all of the trashtalk at the press conference...etc...then to not only just get knocked out, but put on a horrible performance for 7 rounds SugaShane 11-30-2005, 11:04 PM Ok I will also throw in Maussa over Harris...many felt Harris was like the "Tarver" of the division...that one day when he got his big chance, he would shockingly beat the #1 guy...I mean he IS very big/tall for the division and many seemed to not care to fight him...he was on his way to a possible showdown with Mayweather after all of the trashtalk at the press conference...etc...then to not only just get knocked out, but put on a horrible performance for 7 rounds thanks for repeating exactly what I said in my earlier post CHICO_4LIFE 11-30-2005, 11:06 PM Agree with that one. Hatton's win over Tszyu was pretty impressive. it was impressive but if he faught tszyu here in australia he would have been beaten! Manny_P 11-30-2005, 11:07 PM Zaheer Raheem becuz he dominated Erik Morales 120-112. He dominated a guy who was #4-5 on ta P4P list. Mayweatha was impressive, but cmon! He fought Arturro Gatti. borikua 11-30-2005, 11:14 PM If we go by most exciting fight in 2005, has to be Chico-Castillo I followed by Cotto-Torres. Undefeated 11-30-2005, 11:20 PM If we go by most exciting fight in 2005, has to be Chico-Castillo I followed by Cotto-Torres. yup those 2 fights right there also with mayweather it wasnt tha best fight but he killed auturo gatti lol (that sneaky left hook hahah) CHICO_4LIFE 11-30-2005, 11:23 PM If we go by most exciting fight in 2005, has to be Chico-Castillo I followed by Cotto-Torres. i dunno if cotto - torres was more exciting than morales - pac, but it was a hell of a good fight! |
