View Full Version : greatest lhw! Dempsey 1919 11-29-2005, 03:40 PM Who is the greatest light heaveweight of all-time? Da Iceman 11-29-2005, 05:51 PM gotta be archie moore, that man kicked ass at 50 cple 11-29-2005, 07:33 PM And Ezzard Charles kicked Archie Moore's ass three times, knocking him out in their last meeting. It's been a while since i sat down and made a list, but my top ten would probably look like this: (in no particular order) Ezzard Charles Archie Moore Sam Langford Gene Tunney Michael Spinks Bob Foster Tommy Loughran Maxie Rosenbloom Harold Johnson Bob Fitzsimmons The likes of Billy Conn, Matthew Saad Muhammad, and Jimmy Bivins probably deserve being mentioned. Brockton Lip 11-29-2005, 07:55 PM Difficult choice for me between Archie Moore and Ezzard Charles, but I voted for Ezzard.
