does anyone know how to tranfer video image from an 8mm tape to digital format or a dvd-r?

Im trying to make a gif from a sparring match where i caught my opponent with a sweet left hook to the jaw that sent him totally misdirecting his right cross.

somebody please help me out,im sure u guys would enjoying seeing it.

i know someone here knows how to help me out.
