lol I was hoping that was forgotten. I met him a few weeks ago, he says he is turning professional in a few months if he continues to progress well. He moved down to Light-Heavyweight now, i may be in with a chance. :D I'm thinking of starting in the amature rankings this year, it's always been a dream of mine to fight and i made it a resolution to start. Sparring is good for the fitness but i want to knock people out :cool:

I'll kick ass Tina i'm telling you. I know i have got a good punch and i can fight for 10 3 minute rounds which is good because i'll only be fighting for 4 in the amatures. :D I know that it will be tough becuase in sparring you can try different things but in a real fight it's kill or be killed. :mad:

i was an up and coming lightweight (ranked top 5)some of my fights were followed by journalists, i trained hard and ran a lot , made 10 rounds of sparring but during fights i ran out of gas in 2 rounds sometimes due to pressure prefight tension and weight drain , so beware.

Just joking because thats really good, your so right about the fights too, i thought i was really fit but i was ****ed in a round in my first am bout. Maybe nerves or something.

I doing some work at home because i chaning my style and body mass, i want to be a bit more slick, my old coach liked the get hit then hit them back twice as hard approach!! which is effective but foolish in the long run.

I'm a Middleweight when i'm fit but at the moment i'm weighin abit more than usual because of Xmas. Guess we won't fight lol I'm done with heavier people

I'm not a massive heavy, i just weight a lot. I just weight a lot more than i look for some reason. :confused: Maybe a sparring session in the future!?!

being a pro would be cool, i'm not sure if its for me though. My old coach spoke about it a couple of times and the other lads at the gym think i should try but i think i'd rather coach fighters.

I plan to be back in the gym in the next couple of months, i'll do some good sparring and see if its worth it, i have confindence in my ability and i hate to lose which is good for a fighter so i may have ago for an amateur title, Maybe Novice ABA first.

I've gotta go to sleep now mate but i'll be checking up on you in the future, me and you have to at least try for something or we'll never know how good we really are.

i fought and beat americans amateurs , they are the same as other human beings.

amateurs are way better in europe for the simple facts that almost nobody turns pro and that the boxing teached is more efficient in with the amateur scoring system.that s why cubans amateurs come to europe to spar.

i trained in church street gym when i was livin in NY and the amateurs all had a professional style and were looking for a pro carreer.

that s why you do so bad in the olympics

amateurs are way better in europe for the simple facts that almost nobody turns pro and that the boxing teached is more efficient in with the amateur scoring system.that s why cubans amateurs come to europe to spar.

yeap the amateur fights i saw in the US were pro fights with headgear.guys were just waiting for a promoter offer.

plus you can turn pro with no pro fights in the US , you have to have at least 15 fights to turn pro in france and a positive resume.

the u.s. boxing team got only a single gold in the last olympiad...it really sucked.
