For all of you that like Shawshank (no doubt it's a great film) you should check out "Escape From Alcatraz". Shawshank was either an adaptation of that film, or a complete ripoff. Check it out, it's crazy how similar those two movies are! Escape is more realistic (plus it's based on a true story)

I saw "Escape" too...no camparison. Not even similar except for the locale being a prison.
