Her transitions are so smooth, her armbars are vicious.

She's a beast, and I don't see anyone in the division beating her besides Cyborg.

She's a beast and I'm sure Cyborg is pissed that she's now labeled as a cheater as she could probably beat Rousey.

I think Rousey and Gina Carano would be a good fight! Carano just needs to get back in the octagon!

She needs to lose a serious amount of weight, she's so overweight.

I know, I think the Cyborg loss hit her pretty hard. Depending on how successful her acting career goes, she might be back. Especially now that her loss to Cyborg has that potential question mark..

Gina doesn't have the ground game for Rousey. Cyborg fight is interesting due to her physical attributes...

Yeah Rousey reminds me of how Gracie was back in the day. Meaning nobody was on his level at that time so he was dominating... Rousey from what I have seen is the best female ground fighter. She needs to work on her stand up. I thought it would have been better but it was horrible last night... She works on her stand up and she would be complete unstoppable right now.

Great victory, but Cyborg would spark her out in the first round.

Agreed.

However, if Ronda can take the fight to the ground, Cyborg is ****ed.

Ronda is great on the matt but I've seen Cyborg rolling and she slams anybody that tries to submit her with ease. Ronda's armbar wouldn't work on her, I could see her getting dumped on her head repeatedly by Cyborg.

Would Cyborg even be able to make weight? The PEDs she was taking was for cutting weight.

Those roids will be too much to overcome even if rousy did get cyborg down isnt cyborg an adcc gold medalist?

Yeah. I don't think Ronda beats Cyborg at all.

Look at the way she tried to take down Meisha. It looked like a street fight, takedown. I don't think she will get close enough to Cyborg and not get crippled from the strikes, to take her down.

Even Carano. If her fat ass loses the weight. I feel that her striking could get to Ronda as well. If Ronda learns how to shoot takedown, then it's a different story.

I don't think any of the women are on Rhonda's level. They all fight like women with the exception of Cyborg...but even Cyborg does not come from the same pedigree. Rhonda can fight for real...she is an Olympic Sliver Medalist Judo Champion in 2008 and won a gold medal at the 2004 World Junior Judo Championships at 17 years of age. Her mother is the first American to win a World Judo Championship. She was born to fight and easily makes the transition to MMA with only 6 months of training...imagine her in 2-3 years. I kind of feel sorry for the women who have/will face her. They are all so far more of a novelty who could compete because the skill set so far has been repetitively low and Rhonda changes the standard...she's for real.

Cyborg would be tough due to the extra weight and the roids. Rhonda would either win through superior technique or would get beaten due to Cyborg's superior physique.

lol, that is not what she used. I'm talking about the very first clinch.

And I know judo. I'm not oblivious to it.

I don't remember the 1st clinch...but somewhere mid-round she took her down with amazing speed and force with perfect technique that must have physiologically left Tate realizing that she was way out of her league and could only hope to survive.

What's good about her success is that it may get Kyra Gracie into the game. And ground game vs ground game, i'm going with Kyra every time. :lol1:

Possible but can't count out her grappling credentials.

:lol1: I had that same argument for Hendo, got proved wrong. Don't stick to that reasoning sir, I know from experience.

Hendo was an alternate in Greco! Freestyle translates to MMA better IMO. BJJ has weak takedowns and TD defense. I'd like to see Kyra and Rousey roll around though. :wank::wank:

Looking at how Tate was able to have at least some success (taking the back) I'd have to give Kyra is a chance. But then again we've seen a few fights between great grapplers where they just remainded standing the whole time, so maybe it'd go that way. Hopefully not.

Make it happen Dana. I'm for sure no significant striking will happen in this one. :D
