I wonder how many people will enter this thread as opposed to the "ugly" one? It's weird how we can judge people's look in a negative way, but if you come to say a guy's handsome we get squeamish...

I think anorak has a point in terms of marketability. Handsome boxers do tend to have bigger appeal, look at Oscar De La Hoya. He has strong female following, they buy tickets to his fights and only his fights meaning he makes more money. In a monetary sense looks can effect your career. It is a relivant point to this extent.
