Sometimes when i hit the heavybag and its been a while I get these pains in my ribs, sort of like cramps. What is that?

I thought you might have trouble with the hand pain what i get sometimes…i would say your just sometimes working the muscle to it's max…i also get it where it feels tight like cramp…but a good rest sorts it out.

Is it pain or is it injurie? If its injurie than tell your trainer. If its pain, learn to work through it and you will come one step closer to becoming a real boxer. We have all worked through it to get to where we wanted to go. Excepting defeat is one thing, allowing yourself to be defeated is another.

Rockin1 why don't you just log in as Rockin1? Why the @sisters? Anyways, if it's just pain ice your hands after every workout and drain them in epson salts, it should HELP it.

I dont remember my pass word and I am unable to get to my e-mail to get the pass word. It is me posting, Rockin1. Atleast I was straight forward with it, not like others who hide behind a false name and start up ****, ya know what I mean?

You could have a bruised rib, it doesn't really take that much if you don't react getting hit. I remember when I started out one of my first sparring sessions and I slipped a badly timed weak body hook to this dude that outweighed me with least 20 kgs and he got a bruised rib and had to stop training for a couple of months he didn't see the hit coming though.

Basicly I have to agree with rockin though, you don't get good with out some pain and the body will heal it self in most cases. Be smarter then me though I got some old injuries that Im pretty sure will stick with me for life and prolly could have been avoided if I had seen a doctor, but they are not really a hindering.
