The funny thing is Frazier would sometimes genuinely seem to have real affection for Ali. I've seen other interviews when they really do seem to be the best of friends (during their career and after).

Then at other times Frazier would show seriously bitter resentment that could be quite shocking. For all Ali's insults in their fight buildups, Frazier had made some corkers too in resent years. Suggesting that they throw Ali into the Olympic fire in Atlanta 1996 and also being content to take some credit for Ali's Parkinsons syndrome is so at odds with the guy in the above video.

So confusing!

I've often pondered what Frazier really thought of Ali in his private moments and I've honestly come to the conclusion that it really depended on what mood he was in at that time. Sometimes he'd genuinely love him, sometimes hate him.
