Why does nobody come to this section lol?

A lot of people just like to read in here

Another reason is the vast majority of forum users are just fan boys with limited (at best) knowledge of boxing history and even less desire to gain it!

Trolling doesn't fly in here and people who try to pretend they know more than they do are always exposed.

I wish it was busier but i kinda like the fact that u can drop a post and check back later to see who has replied without scanning through countless pages on end

Hey guys, would you mind if I brought Rumblin' Rockin' Promotions into the history section. We could discuss the opponents for each managers fighter, kinda get into the nitty-gritty when it comes to name recognition. I think that it would fit nicely in here. What do you guys think? .......Rockin':boxing:

True. Even if NSB were top quality, it is almost a fulltime job to keep up with all the posts.

Do you have the knowledge and tactfulness to bring a fighter up from the beginning and take him to the title? Well heres your chance to prove it in Rumblin***8217; Rockin***8217; Promotions KING OF THE HILL challenge.

Buy a fighters contract and take him through the ages as you will match him against fighters from every era as you try to climb the ranks and into title contention. There could be unforeseen obstacles along the way, but you must expect this in the game of boxing. Concur these obstacles as you build your fighter in skill and experience. Have you got what it takes? Get your fighter now and experience the world of boxing as only Rumblin***8217; Rockin***8217; Promotions can bring you in KING OF THE HILL.

Heres how it works***8230;.. You chooses a fighter and upon securing his contract you match him against fighters each week to build his record and experience.

When you buy a contract (Prospects list) your fighter will be at the very beginning of his career so you must match him carefully. For example, if Marvin Haglers first fight was against a veteran in Vito Antufermo, Marvin would most likely lose. Now take the time to build him properly and the fight could easily go Marvins way. But it will take time as any new fighter needs.

If you should buy a fighter from the opponents list that fighter will be fighting at prime status. In time he will age, but for the time being he is strong and capable.

Once you aquire a fighters contract you will want to private message me 2 things, that being his training for the fight as well as the opponent you have chosen to fight. Your fighters skills will be updated and each Saturday night your fighter will step in between the ropes to contest his worthyness. Every fight (except Title bouts which will be 15 rounds) will consist of 10 ***8211; 3 minute rounds. Each Sunday night the results will be posted and all money earned will be recorded by Rumblin***8217; Rockin***8217; Promotions.

Here is what I will need in information for your fighters training each week

You will have 45 training points to use in these 15 catagories of training.
*Shadow Boxing
*Sparring
*Heavy Bag
*Speed Bag
*Double End Bag
*Punch Mitts
*Slip***8217;n the line
*Skipping Rope
*Stomach Crunches/Sit ups
*Push ups
*Leg Lifts
*Weight Training
*Wind Sprints
*Jogging
*Heat index in gym

Divide the 45 points up into these 15 catagories and private message me with your training out put and the opponent that you have selected each week. (Note) Heat index is how hot you keep the gym when you work out. 1-cool 2-comfortable 3-hot as hell

That is all that you***8217;ll need to do as Rumblin***8217; Rockin***8217; Promotions will do the rest. You may want to research your future opponents on Box Rec.com. The records will be a great indication as to what you are getting your fighter into.

Rumblin***8217; Rockin***8217; Promotions will make a thread tracking all of the managed fighters bouts and it is here that you can find out who he has fought and the outcome of the bout.

The fighters contract list will be up shortly, I hope that you will jump into the world of boxing as only Rumblin***8217; Rockin***8217; Promotions can bring you.

Like Surgeon said some people just like to browse and brush up on their knowledge,me included

This section is for posters that are genuinely interested in the history of this great sport, whereas most of the NSB fanboys would rather nuthug some current fighter and have no interest in legends that have come before

Because other than the regulars in this section and a small handful of others have no clue at all about the history of the sport.
