the quake that started the whole thing was so violent that the earth's tectonic plates under the sea are smashed together, apparently the earth is a little smaller now, and was even knocked off its axis slightly. i have a close friend from malaysia and don't know if he's alive or not, i'm trying not to think about it too much

That looks like CGI or something. Despite the devastation and destruction it caused you must admit the power of nature and man~s subservience to it is TRULY awesome.
