.::|ULTIMATE|::. 11-15-2005, 02:19 AM From Box-latino
Diaz's Managers made statements in a LA radio station, saying that they have begun negotiations to place Juan in a big fight, that being fighting the winner of Castillo vs Corrales 3.
Diaz is willing to put his WBA title on the line and expects the winner of Castillo vs Corrales to put the WBC and WBO belts on the line as well.
Diaz said that for him, the ideal would be a fight with castillo, in a battle of Mexicans. Diaz originates from Guerrero, Mexico and lives in Houston Texas.

the giant one 11-15-2005, 02:24 AM Diaz better not underestimate Lakava Sim on December 15th or he will get KO'd

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.......he's not liely to win ;)
It would be intresting.I dont know. This would probably be too big a step up in class.I hope he proves me wrong,I liked him early on,but he hasnt done **** for a while.
BLOODSHED 11-15-2005, 02:29 AM Theyd both RUIN Diaz if he fought them. Still too early for Diaz.

Well he already fought and beat Lakva Sim,but maybe a loss at this point in his career would wake his ass up.But again isnt this the second time JD has re-fought guys he already beat? WTF.

i think you need to realize he is 21 years old. he is fighting a guy i believe is his mandatory? i could be wrong.
he already has a belt, just the fact that he is willing to take a fight against a guy like castiloo or corrales shows that he has balls, to unify belts in the lightweight division would be no joke, and to do it before hes 22 would be tysonesque.
i posted about diaz no more than a week ago and everyone ripped me, so i expect a long line of people to start saying hes gonna be knocked out
Hitman932 11-15-2005, 02:40 AM Also Everyone.....
Diaz Vs Sim Will Be Televised On "the Best Damn Sports Show Period" In Place Of James Toney And Rob Calloway. So Most Everyone Here In The Us Should Be Able To Get A Good Look At The Baby Bull
moy22487 11-15-2005, 02:41 AM i would like to see diaz vs diaz juan vs julio
Hitman932 11-15-2005, 02:45 AM i would like to see diaz vs diaz juan vs julio
The commentators already ruin the fight, i cant even how bad theyd butcher a diaz vs diaz fight. diaz hits diaz and idaz is staggered, diaz goes down and diaz wins and diaz loses.
moy22487 11-15-2005, 02:47 AM i think julio diaz would be refured to as "the kid" for the fight

good, hopefully he faces corrales and gets ktfo'd so he will learn not to talk smack
.::|ULTIMATE|::. 11-15-2005, 03:03 AM I think it just may be all hype from his people, either that or they are ready to cash out on him because i dont think he is ready for
Jose Luis, Diego, or Julio.

Well you have to understand,I would like to be able to defend diaz, but after the Ebo fight fell through, because of Diaz,he didnt really do anything. He showed something special early on and like i said I hope he proves me wrong, but like you said hes youn and inexperienced and i dont really expect him to win, based on that.

Wow Fly I didnt know you had a post like this in you...your right.
mic573 11-15-2005, 09:59 AM As much as I would like Diaz to beat either Castillo or Corrales I don't see it happening. Especially if he fights Castillo. His style against Castillo would be devastating. Look at Castillo's fight against Julio Diaz and he had much more experience than Juan has.
I would like to see Diaz go up against Lazcano.

A fight with Lazcano would be good but too me Lazcano is going to beat him as well...
Juan needs to drop 5 pounds and start calling out Pac, Morales and Barerra.
These are PPV fights and they come with a lot less punishment then a fight with either Corrales or Castillo.
Why not go where the money is? Why does Juan want to go where the hurt is?

Lazcano didn't look all that great in his last fight. He appeared to be fading at times in the ring.
130 might be a better choice for Diaz but you have to admire his willingness to go after Castillo and Corrales. I don't think he is ready but he could prove everyone wrong again. Remember he was a pretty heavy underdog against Sim the first time and he dominated the fight.
TuPrincipe 11-15-2005, 10:32 AM I don't think this is going to amount to much. He should get himself down to 130, He's not going to be able to take on the big boys at 135.
RAESAAD 11-15-2005, 10:37 AM Good I have been waiting for his ***** ass to get whooped....I really don't like him for some reason just like Rocky juarez.....

Talk is talk...I dont buy for a second that Diaz would sign on the dotted line to fight JL Castillo or Diego Corrales nor do I think that either guy has Juan Diaz on their radar screen. It is an easy thing to call out people when you no there is really nothing to it.
You right about Lazcano...he did look different and he may be faded enough for Juan to take adavantage...the Castillo v. Lazcano fight was one of the more underated fights of last year and judging by the time that Lazcano took off it must have taken its towl on him.

It was a great fight that got lost between Pac/Marquez and Barrera/Morales. I'm sure the fight did take a toll on Lazcano because he did take a pretty bad beating that night.
BLOODSHED 11-15-2005, 12:18 PM Man, I know boxing. Check my sig with my recent accurate picks. All three of those were the minority of opinions on here. I know what Im talking about.
Wow Fly I didnt know you had a post like this in you...your right.
TheEvilSaint 11-15-2005, 12:19 PM juan diaz has no idea what hes getting himself into.

This means little too me, my retarded step brother Richie predicted McCall v. Lewis 1 and Junior Jones v. Barerra 1...
I just show him a picture of both guys and he grunts at which guy he thinks is gonna win.
I dont consider Richie a guy who knows boxing because he has made a few predictions, therefore I will be consistent and say the same thing about you FLY.
Fair enough?
BLOODSHED 11-15-2005, 12:33 PM Raheem wasnt even given a chance against Morales and I backed up my logic as to picking Raheem. Raheem aint no Barrera. Raheem has a defense and over-all better skills. Nobody wanted to hear that and Morales got shut down that fight. Wasn't even close. I remember people were saying WTF cause one judge only had Raheem up by four rounds. Thats what kind of blow out it was and I predicted it.

I think I m gonna show my stepbrother some of your posts and predictions...I may PM you later so you guys can talk.
I will have to type for him though becuase he has no clue what the **** he is doing.
Are there any other outstanding fight predictors out there besides FLY and my stepbrother Richie?

yeah nobody believed zahir raheem could beat eric morales just like all the nuthuggers refuse to believe anyone but each other could beat castillo or corrales.
diaz has a shot, especially against corrales, whether you guys can get in through your heads or not.
people on here who are fans of JLC and Diego are just as bad as klitschko fans. they refuse to acknowledge any possibility that there fighter would lose and they show up in masses everytime someone mentions their name witht he same "he'll knock that bum out no contest "line of bull****.

Wait wait wait...I was one of those who said "Morales picked the wrong fighter to fight" just moments after they signed to fight each other. I even bumped up that thread just to gloat. :p
Hitman932 11-15-2005, 01:03 PM since nobody ever goes back to the first page to read
Juan Diaz vs Lakva Sim will be televised live on the best damn sports show perios in place of Toney/Calloway
SnoopySmurf 11-15-2005, 01:08 PM Lakva has to be busier than last time. I saw that fight and he got out-gunned and out-landed. Sometimes I wonder if he allows himself to get hit so the other guy gets tired.
In fact, Ebo was winning the first 4 rounds over Lakva.
RAESAAD 11-15-2005, 01:35 PM I think I m gonna show my stepbrother some of your posts and predictions...I may PM you later so you guys can talk.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to scap again
Thats some funny ****........
Nodogoshi 11-15-2005, 01:39 PM Well you have to understand,I would like to be able to defend diaz, but after the Ebo fight fell through, because of Diaz,he didnt really do anything. He showed something special early on and like i said I hope he proves me wrong, but like you said hes youn and inexperienced and i dont really expect him to win, based on that.
It was pretty disapointing at the time when this fight fell through, but Lakva Simm KO'd Ebo Elders in 12 recently. SO thats why he earned a shot at Diaz, i presume.
jabsRstiff 11-15-2005, 02:03 PM I give Diaz credit for wanting to fight those guys.....but he'd get wrecked by them both.
He stands in trading too long.....because his power (which doesn't exist) can't push anyone back or discourage them from trading with him.
He will go in & volume punch against C&C & they'd walk through his stuff & nail him with stuff he couldn't handle.
MetalVomit 11-15-2005, 02:44 PM I think the winner of Castillo/Corrales, whoever it may be, will butcher Juan Diaz, but Diaz has a promising future if he chooses to not pursue that fight.
SAN D13GO VILLAN 11-15-2005, 02:52 PM I must agree!!!!!!!!
CHICO_4LIFE 11-15-2005, 04:06 PM hahahha! diaz is not nearly ready, for any of theese guyz! they would both be to powerful and would knock him out in an early round!
