id have to say that despite the "injuries" which may or may not all be real, that he is without a doubt the most disappointing so called heavyweight champ ever. after his fight with Lewis I as well as many of you, was excited and ready to see this beast take on the rest of the division. after 4 delays, no fights in a year, and a retirement I cant think of anyone more disappointing.

can you?

I think Ruiz is up there. It may have been Sanders, because he coulda really been something if he cared enough about boxing.

Fine. Ruiz may still fight, but the **** is getting old. Vitali has been holding off on fighting for 11 months, Ruiz has been stinkin up the HW division for years. Go bother someone else.

Tyson is definitely a canidate. But he established himself, Vitali never got to.

tyson is a victim of his own success. no one ever accomplished the things he did so early. he was a dominate force before his psychological problems turned him into the whackjob that we know today. im not saying that he didnt disappoint, but he carried the heavyweight division with excitement for 10 years. not many can say that and vitali sure as hell cant even be mentioned in the same breath as mike tyson in his prime. vitali in his prime gave us nothing.

ruiz isnt the most disappointing because he never was expected to do much. he is just the most boring heavyweight ever.

Very true. I guess I may be confusing disapointing with worst. But I think Wladimir has the potenital of being it if doesnt do much else in the division

How the hell is Ruiz disappointing? We know he can't really box but it's amazng he keeps winning so in that regards he might be disappointing if you want him to lose.

But Klitschko, most people wanted him to be the saviour, wanted him to unify, he had all of the physical assets. But when all comes down, he looked for other fights when he was suppose to face Rahman, pulled out of the fight 4 times and never beat anyone of note. And the rumours of him gettin smacked in sparring doesn't help. Potentially, I think he could have destroyed Rahman with ease though but that doesn't count for nothing.

Ruiz has defended his title on many occasions. He beat Holyfield, Rahman, Oquendo, Golota. ****, the worst win on that list is light years beyond Vitali's best win.
