The heavyweight division is considered the glamour division of boxing. But the division has been in turmoil due to the departure of Lewis and people who hate Vitali and think Chris Byrd is champ. So which undefeated prospect has the best shot at ding something big in the future?

Calvin Brock 23-0 (19 KO)
Samuel Peter 21-0 (18 KO)
Leo Nolan 22-0 (8 KO)
Gerald Nobles 24-1 (19 KO)
Nicolay Valuev 39-0 (29 KO)

I say Samuel Peter, solely because the other fighters mentioned above are really garbage. I think they will be great tests for the amateurs who came out of the 2004 Olympics and trials, but will never win a title.

Sam Peter's garbage too. You can actually see him loading up on punches. Someone will KO him with a single straight jab he fights a Top 10 fighter.

I dunno, I think he might have a good chin.

They said the same of David Tua. He got pretty far.

Would Valuev last 12 against Ruiz, Byrd, or Brewster?

But he amounted to something in his career with regards to memorable fights and ko's.

Haven't seen Brock or Nolan.

"No" to the others. That doesn't mean they can't hold a belt. In an era where Lamon Brewster wins a heavyweight title and tit-boy Nobles can KO former champ Bruce Seldon, anything's possible.

That doesn't mean they're any good.

What about these:

1. Ruslan Chagaev

2. Sultan Ibragimov

3. Taras Bidenko (has one early PTS loss from Valuev)?

S. Ibragimov is an Olympic medalist that has 14-0 (12KOs) record.

How do I know you didn't make all these names up? Maybe these names translate to "Asian Sensation is a filthy punk" or something. Maybe you work for Boxrec and just put in your friends names. Long live Vernon Forrest!

Ibragim is a common arabic name, I thought.

I would also have to manipulate Olympic records all over the internet to pull that stunt off.

Five years later, heres the update:

Calvin Brock wound up winning a few semi-significant bouts in unimpressive fashion, earning a title shot at Wladimir Klitschko. Klitschko laid him out in 7, then after another loss to Eddie Chambers in 2007 faded into oblivion amidst an eye injury.

Sam Peter wound up winning a title by stopping Oleg Maskaev in Mexico. Peter has beaten just about everyone he fought not named Klitschko or Eddie Chambers. He's pretty much done now but Top Rank is trying to recycle him.

Leo Nolan is a curious case because he can actually fight a little. He lost to little known Hector Ferreyro in 2007 then faded off. Last I heard he got shot but survived in Detroit.

Gerald Nobles is another one who just faded off. He lost once to Valuev by DQ and has been inactive since 07.

Valuev as we know is still a titlist but stands very little chance of becoming the recognized champ. Good promoters in Germany get you far in this sport.

Um yeah so how is a guy with a loss on his record undefeated? Just asking, no need to bash or criticize............Just a simple answer will do
