View Full Version : Vitali is GONE! Is this good or bad for boxing!?
Tha Greatest 11-06-2005, 06:48 PM FINALLY!
This chump is gone!
Enough of bull**** excuses and delays!
People say Don King has all 4 belts now, but I think that is not that bad..
Maybe he can havea unification!
Is this good for boxing or bad?
Konstantin 11-06-2005, 06:52 PM Did you seriously just make another thread hating on Vitali??
You made a thread about being sick of fans but at this point we have 5 threads on the first page that are anti Klitchko?
Who here is sick and tired of Klitschko's ballsucking fans?
Max Kellerman Rips Vitali despite having same Ancestry as the Klits
why is vitalogy klitchko not checked for steroids?
Remember Vitolgy Roidko
Vitali is GONE! Is this good or bad for boxing!?
Martin (Top Knowledge) 11-06-2005, 06:52 PM I think it's bad for boxing... He was the genuine Heavyweight champion in my eyes but then again, he can't keep his mandatories waiting forever, and he's too inactive for my liking.

Your point?
The Klitschko fans have made like 20 threads nuthugging them, and I'm getting sick of this!
How the **** is this hating on Klitschko!?
I asked if it's GOOD for boxing or if it's BAD for boxing..
Dumb ****.

Thank you...
The Fix 11-06-2005, 06:58 PM vitali shouldnt have had expected to be able to sit on the throne for more then a year and not defend his belt.
this is good for boxings marquee division, maybe next year we will see a fight fir the heavyweight championship.

20 threads eh? Show me the 20 threads on teh first page? Huh?
So far I counted 6 klitchko threads that people that dont nut hug Klitchko created. They are obviously not the ones taking over the board...
Stop being childish, there is no need to call me names.
Tha Greatest 11-06-2005, 07:00 PM First...
I made a thread on the topic, then I gave my OWN opinion.
IwatchBoxing 11-06-2005, 07:02 PM Nobody can stop the awsome force of John Ruiz now...MUAHAHAHA!

oh please, there is always a thread for vitali's nuts to get a suckle.....
SacTown1 11-06-2005, 07:05 PM Is a quitter, quitting, good or bad???
is quitting considered honorable in Europe & Asia or something? Because it's a mortal sin in the US to quit at anything in life...
so the answer: this is GREAT for boxing, Rock won't quit & make excuses the way Quitali has done for calendar '05
and......NEW......... :)
Konstantin 11-06-2005, 07:05 PM oh please, there is always a thread for vitali's nuts to get a suckle.....
And theres always twice that many threads trying to cut them off....
Tha Greatest 11-06-2005, 07:06 PM oh please, there is always a thread for vitali's nuts to get a suckle.....
Ya..
Look at all the threads preceeding the Wlad-Peter fights....
There was like over 50..
monkeyboy 11-06-2005, 07:07 PM I think it's bad for boxing... He was the genuine Heavyweight champion in my eyes but then again, he can't keep his mandatories waiting forever, and he's too inactive for my liking.
Seconded and seconded. He was the only strong, dominant and major upset-less fighter in the division right now and now he's looking majorly unmotivated or physically vulnerable through injury.
FINALLY!

when he unifies it, it won't be long b4 that thing breaks away man
honestly, hell rig it so hell have HIS person as champ
ruiz n byrd wana leav him anyway
Scottie2Hottie 11-06-2005, 07:09 PM i think an undisputed heavyweight championship tourney would be great for boxing. i liked vitali, but he deserved to get stripped of the title.
.::|ULTIMATE|::. 11-06-2005, 07:17 PM Its great for boxing better to have no champion than an inactive one sitting on the belt.
BLOODSHED 11-06-2005, 07:20 PM Couldnt agree more. Thanks for injecting some common sense into this thread.

I think its good don got all the belts, he can keep the hw division active but v.klit got skills, he shouldnt retire.
blockhead 11-06-2005, 07:23 PM its great for boxing, now we just have to get rid of his brother.
Derranged 11-06-2005, 07:27 PM I guess he saying its hating becuase you called Vit a chump. But no matter, I think he can bounce back from this if he is good and ready to fight.... But one thing.. it is definite that he wont be able to fight for a while or is it still pending?? Im hoping he can get better for early Dec... If he could get better by early DEC, could we see a fight???
DiegoFuego 11-06-2005, 08:22 PM This is exactly what I was waiting for. Now everyone who thought Vitali was done with his quitting after his showing in the Lewis fight has been proven wrong. Vitali chose not to fight through his injuries (4 before the same fight? PUH-LEAZE!) so he deserves to lose his title. I say now that Don King owns all the champs, this is a very good thing for boxing. HEAVYWEIGHT TOURNEY, BABY. And no Klitschko's involved! The heavyweight division is saved.
McKay 1 11-06-2005, 08:25 PM And no Klitschko's involved! The heavyweight division is saved.
Actually Wlad will have the IBF title by Februaray. And even if Vitali loses the WBC title it doesn't mean he's "gone." If he gets healthy again he can come back and take some of the belts.
McKay 1 11-06-2005, 08:33 PM IF it wern't for injury and age Vitali couldn't have been a reasonably dominant heavyweight champion. Maybe he still can, but he is, getting old.

McKay 1 11-06-2005, 08:57 PM You spend too much time with Adobe Photoshop.
Manny_P 11-06-2005, 08:57 PM ohhhhh, Vitali, I neva realize you's a chicken. I thought Vitali was OK, but tis act is jest being a chicken. Pacquiao sprained his ankle pretty bad 1 week befo he fought Marquez, but he still fought on. Too many excuses from Vitali to avoid a fighta he coulda probably beaten anywayz. I see lack of confidence from KleeschkHoe.
McKay 1 11-06-2005, 09:01 PM Anybody calling Vitali a chicken for not fighting because of a knee injury cleary is not interested in any kind of logic or sane thinking.
One of my best and oldest friends who I played high school football with also boxed, at a gym in the Beverly neighborhood of Chicago on the southwest side, same neighborhood my dad grew up in for the most part actually. Anyway he had a very similar knee injury to the one Vitali has, torn ligaments in the knee, required surgery. This guy was a great athlete and this injury put an all together end to both his boxing and football careers respectively.
MetalVomit 11-06-2005, 09:02 PM Vitali KO9 Rahman
Tha Greatest 11-06-2005, 09:04 PM Vitali KO9 Rahman
No, because he's scared.
No matter how good you are, if you're scared, then you will not succeed.

He was only like 16 but he was sparring heavyweights at the gym and he was good football player for a very respectable program, not as good as me, but good.
I remember once in practice, we were scrimaging. I was playing wide out. He was playing defensive end. The play was a pass to me out in the flat, pressure got to teh quarterback and he scrabmled to the outside on a sweep. He was running full momentum toward the quarterback in pursuit from behind. This is maybe one of my best friends. I was running toward him at full momentum as he was pursuing the quarterback. He didn't see me at all, I drove my helmut straight into his chin and laid a cracking hit on him in full momentum. He had a concusion from that. We really went hard on each other. This guy was tough, but the knee injury killed him.
FrankJack 11-06-2005, 10:30 PM Vitali leaving the HW picture should be great for that division. I can't understand how someone can be propped for doin nothing. I don't care how much potential you have, or if you have Ray Robinson like ability, if you don't fight you don't deserve a thing in this sport. Vitali is too inactive and as the person seen as THE champ in that division he hasn't done much but disgrace himself and that division with what he's done. Give the title to someone who will defend it and try to unify.
kallsop 11-06-2005, 10:45 PM Let's add this all up.
Lennox beats Vitali, then retires. So Vitali is the "real champ" because he beats Corrie Sanders? Corrie who? I don't think so. We don't have a heavyweight champion that is a concensus champion. We don't even have a WBC champion that wants to fight.
Tha Greatest 11-06-2005, 10:50 PM Ok, listen up people....
If the injury is REAL....or fake...
This is still good for boxing, the heavyweight champion of the world needs to be ACTIVE...if he's injured, then we shouldn't have to wait n ****..
This ain't ****in Russia or Ukraine or Belarus!
We want fights!
He comes from some way different country !
In America, it don't work like that...we want fights!
McKay 1 11-06-2005, 10:54 PM He comes from some way different country !
!
So..
Thats a crux against him? Being from Ukraine?
Your saying that the reason he is inactive is not because of injury but that he hails from Ukraine? Thats really something you got there.
TuPrincipe 11-06-2005, 11:54 PM This is BAD for boxing. Toney's going to have to basically sign his life to Don King. Don King is a plague to boxing, the only good thing he's ever done in his garbage promoting was Zaire. He's a really slippery character and I dont trust him. if anybody has helped make the sport a farce, it also been Don King. Look at the way he has treated his fighters. It’s unconscionable making people sign blank contracts and manipulating the rankings.
I can't stand Don King and if he has all 4 belts, the HW Division is ruined.
Sorry about my rant ;).
