What about Soliman, he is the IBF number one isn't he? Why isn't he fighting for the vacant IBF belt. I know he's fighting Winky but Soliman was the number one contender, why would he opt out of a title fight?

good on the germans for this one..............they were saying not long ago (month or so) that they want to bring artur on gradually.........and all of a sudden they have a title shot in germany...........

More friendly German judges i guess. Could this be another Sven Ottke in the making? Could another championship era of survive to the final bell and you'll get the dec no matter how it goes be lifting off?

well Abraham is good, but i would have much loved to have seen him fight in the states...........and if he wins, they won't let him.....

Kingsley Ikeke's management is so desperate for a shot that they are willing to go to Germany while the judges are known to be corrupt and dodgy.

I'm hopking Ikeke can knock Abraham out, if not Abraham will most likely win this due to the judges. Ikeke has improved his power so I don't think a TKO is out of the question like it was before.

Actually it should be JTs title....you really think the number one contender can beat him? (sam soliman) Regardless even so winky and soliman should be fighting for it....titles are sort of useless anyhow regardless if Jermain vacates all his belts, if he convincingly beats Hopkins this time around even with 0 belts hell be regarded as THE champ. In fact I'd rather have Sturm and Winky fight for the belt over soliman.....but do i have control over that? Nope : /

well he is the only one, and for him, it was more like a challenger going over there....although officially he was the wbo champ..........

but i'm sure you understand my point......go thru the lists of all the german world champs like michalewski, rochigiani, maske, ottke, beyer, erdei, etc...they just don't go when they are champ!
