I think he is, I mean you could make arguments for Toney, Hopkins,Mayweather or even Kirk Johnson(when his head is in the game). Can you really knock Cotto on anything in his arsenal?

Cotto is a good fighter, I cant believe I pick Pinto to win over him. I dont know why I dislike Cotto but I can seem him hanging in there with some top dawgs later on in the future.

Best all around skill set in the game in my opinion. No real weak points...one of the most comfortable, composed fighters in the ring. Bad ass left hook to boot.

longer in the tooth means more age, more experienced. cotto has an all around real good game. i just wonder about his right, dude who said that he couldn't tell about cottos right is correct, pinto was already really hurt by all those lefts when the rights landed. i think the only one w/ the all around game like that is hopkins now a days. only thing mayweather lacks is power.

If Cotto works a little more on his foot work and gets a few more fights i think he could beat just about anybody. Gatti, Tszyu, all of em. He is the future of the divsion, but he needs to take it one step at a time.

I like Cotto, a small man's Tyson. I wouldn't call him the best technical fighter though, maybe one of the best boxer-punchers.

I feel Cotto being so technically sound, much more than KT would exploit's KT's limited defence and mobility. KT is also older now. The more Cotto waits the more likely the chance someone is gonna steal the glory by beating him to a KT win.

Cotto is not the most technically sound in the present, the honor belongs to a tie between Pretty Boy Floyd and Hopkins. But Cotto isn't far behind, and he looks only to improve.

hopkins is on another level then any fighter near 160... he knocked out delahoya with a body shot.. delahoya fought a roided up shane mosley who could bench 365 and dead lift 500 and i think oscur won the second fight....he fought a roided vargas and knocked him out he beat tito too in my book....i think he should get in great shape and go down to 147 and dominate oscar that is

Fighting a disciplined, controlled fight is great but there's gonna be a time where Miguel is going to have to FIGHT.
