View Full Version : November to January, Back to Back Greatness!
ELPacman 11-01-2005, 04:43 PM You got in November, Vitali vs Rahman, a week later, Floyd against Sharmba(chump). Then in December you got, Behop back against Taylor, and then later on, Winky vs some chump. Then we cap this off in the end of January with Manny vs some chump named Morales(haha j/k), then you got to finalize it, Gatti vs some chump. I love it! Don't comment on Gatti's fight as being a chump vs a chump, at least Gatti is a glorifed chump! :D He rocks! :boxing:
DiegoFuego 11-01-2005, 04:51 PM I can't believe the Pacquiao-Morales rivalry on this forum is so big. It's not a big rivalry by any means. Pacquiao should KO Morales this time, but I doubt it.
ELPacman 11-01-2005, 06:53 PM I don't hate either guy so theres no rivalry for me between them. I just can't wait for them to lock horns again since it will be an exciting fight!

other then mayweather vs mitchell...these fights arent exciting..i dont want to see pacquiao vs morales
well hey, thers fights that are actually named guys man
from the corrales castillo to the klitschko rahman theer was nothing
Manny_P 11-01-2005, 09:56 PM Pacquiao will KO Morales. I've studied Morales fo a while. Musta seen half of all his fights and if Pac wants to drop and KO tis guy, he MUST land consecutive strong punches. It's difficult to drop tis guy wit one punch. Although recently he almost got his ass floored by Raheem.

He tried to do that but Morales wouldn't really let him land more than one punch at a time.
For Pacquiao to win he will actually have to take some power off his punches and outwork Morales. The way he fights now putting full power in almost every punch he gets knocked off balance and is easy to counter. Another thing Pacquiao must do is stand his ground more. He backed up too much in the fight when Morales attacked him.

If Morales wants to beat Manny, ta most significant things he can do are.
1: Use ta jab often.
2: Duck his head many times cuz Pac's left straight would be neutralize if he's head is down. Not only Morales' chin would be hidden, but ta impact of ta punches land would decrease also.
Pac's blood on his right eye affected him (vision wise). Maybe that's part of ta reason why we din't see ta accurate Pacquaio we are accustomed to nah mean? As we know, prior ta ta clash of them headz, ta score cards were tight as hell. Pac won round 1, Morales 2, Pacquiao 3, Morales 4 and 5 coulda gone eitha way which Lederman gave to Pacquiao. You see, ta headbutt whetha Morales nuthuggaz like it or not, played a big role and HELPED MORALES ALOT. We'll see in ta rematch, but I can almost guarantee Pac beats Morales tis time around. Hope headbutts don't happen.

you do realize Morales has never been down right?

officially he was, but Morales almost got KD and was really hurt 5th round of ta first fight he fought Barrera. Pac hits harder than Barrera and havin seen MANY TIMES that Morales can be hurt, it aint outa ta question if Pac can KO him.
Barrera on first fight, 5th round almost KD him
Raheem on 5th round, almost dropped him. (damn 5th rounds = bad luck, lol)
Pacquiao on round 12 wobbled him bad too.
So you see, a Pac KO is very conceivable.
vze2hhvj 11-02-2005, 12:06 AM Looks like boxing is done with its break, finally some good fight in the line up :) im hoping for the Diego vs castillo III to get signed
Tha Greatest 11-02-2005, 12:11 AM maybe if they weren't all ppvs there would be something to get excited about..

good points. I think Pacquiao has a good chance to KO Morales. ****, if Raheem had him on queer street for a minute, Pacquiao could take him out. I think Morales is definitely declining as a fighter, and hopefully Pacquiao (if it has to be done) is the guy to send Morales into retirement.
