Several minutes ago I went to Starbucks to get a mocha. It's getting cold outside, not too cold and a white chocolate mocha is nice.

Anyway, as I was entering Starbucks an older white lady looked surprised or annoyed when she saw me come in through the door and that got me thinking. I've never seen a group of Mexicans buying coffee at Starbucks.

The only Latinos that I know that buy coffee there often are married to a white person. The only Mexican that I know who drinks coffee there wants to assimilate American culture and forget about Mexico.

I simply go just to enjoy coffee and check out the hot white girls.

Is Starbucks, like the whitest place to buy coffee? The majority of the customers in the nearby Starbucks are white, several blacks, and a few Asians and Middle Easterners but never Mexicans. & I live in an area with a large Hispanic population.

my mom and sister get those too. i don't drink coffee myself, but most people i know hit up dunkin donuts instead of starbucks from what i can remember. starbucks has always looked like a yuppie/stuck up place though, wouldn't expect hispanics or mexicans to want to hit that place up for some coffee.

I only went to Starbucks once with a friend of mine cause she wanted a frappuccino and I got a smoothie or something I think...it was complete ass, I couldn't even finish it, that's how **** it tasted and I threw it away.

Not only did it taste ass, but it was expensive as hell.

Never again have I gone back there or will I ever go in there.

I'll get my skinny white girls someplace else, f*ck starbucks.

I used to work at a damn starbucks when I was 18 and besides me there was one other Mexican homie there but youre kind of right though because the majority of our customers back then were white and old ass angry people who needed their damn caffeine fix. I did see some raza but it was mostly a bunch of squares and girly/hipster/new age kind of guys. Chancletas with tight jeans kinda guys with big oversized gay sunglasses that they never took off.

Saturday evening I stop at Starbucks to get myself another mocha and I saw two teenage/college Latinas speaking Spanish but they weren't Mexican. They had some accent that's not Mexican.

I also saw a Latin mom with her three kids. She was dark brown like me.

I went again last night but there were no Latinos in sight. There were a good amount of blacks though.
