Keep them on a disk and not just on your computer or hide in your e- mail which you only know the password to.

I hide it in game folder > random folder > new folder > new folder

In Windows XP only way to keep your folders private would be to add another account and passwor protect your account. It will ask you if u wanna make ur folders private etc.

Also as far as not showing the most recent files you've viewed:

1) Right click on the task bar
2) Select Properties
3) Go to the Start Menu Tab
4) Click on Customize
5) Go to the Advanced Tab
6) At the bottom there is box checked that reads "List my most recently opened documents"
7) Uncheck it.
8) Click OK
9) You are done

You can try this program. I used to use it with Win 98 & it was good. "Magic Folders makes any folder you choose and all the files in that folder completely invisible to others, even on the network! Your invisible folders and files can't be deleted, viewed, modified, or run. For all practical purposes they don't exis.." http://www.downloadjunction.com/product/software/6461/

its the worst feature when you're looking at videos called "in the kitty" on your recent documents window and your brother comes on the computer looking for a paper he wrote last week.
