View Full Version : Good news for Hatton-Maussa fight in November
restless_438 10-25-2005, 07:37 PM The unification clash between IBF light welterweight champion Ricky "The Hitman" Hatton and WBA titleholder Carlos Maussa at the Hallam FM Arena in Sheffield, England on November 26th will be broadcast live in the United States on Pay Per View for only $19.95 at 4:00pm ET. "I originally wanted this fight to be in the States for I could fight in front American fans," said Hatton. "But since that didn’t happen and the fight will be in England, I am happy they will have a chance to still watch it live over the telly." The event is being promoted by Fight Academy in association with Main Events and All-Star Boxing, Inc. The broadcast—the unification bout along with the undercard matches—will be available in over 50 million Pay Per View homes via cable systems from iN Demand & TVN and from satellite providers DirecTV & Dish Network. The broadcast is being distributed in the USA by Integrated Sports.
RAESAAD 10-25-2005, 07:38 PM Thats cool but I thought you were going to announce the fight was off and Hatton was going to fight somebody... :(
Manny_P 10-25-2005, 07:40 PM it betta has a good undacards. Hatton vs Maussa should be ta opening fight. Ta 1st of ta 3 fights. LOL!
Pac Man Fan 83 10-25-2005, 07:40 PM Is there going to be a televised undercard as part of the PPV package?
I'll probably order this. $20 PPVs are extremely reasonable.

not to mention RARE in our sport. Hopefully it does well and promoters for PPV fights will take note.

If you realised..
EVERYTHING is going ppv..
I'm not going to watch these bull**** ppv fans as big of a boxing fan I am, I am a true fan, but I don't give a ****, I ain't payin money for fights I sort of want to see...
One of my friends said..
"I would watch boxinig if it wasn't on PPV."
Actually about 90% of my friends said this..
Then he said, "How much does it cost $6 or $7?"
I said, "No, more like $50, lol."

The unification clash!?!? that seems wrong to have Maussa in a unification clash but the fact is he's a genuine world champion... :D
restless_438 10-26-2005, 01:49 PM well if yall are gonna ***** about the PPVs, email, write, ****, telegram the people in charge of them.. don't complain here. what good is that gonna do, *****ing to a bunch of other boxing fans? if you really want things to change, tell the people that can make changes. If you can't do that, stop buying PPVs, i'll still sleep fine tonight.
Manny_P 10-26-2005, 01:52 PM Mausa was ****in incredible gainst Harris. If Maussa comes in ta ring at 145lbs, I can see Hatton gettin KTFo by that vicious left hook he threw on Harris. Especially ta one when Maussa pummeled Harris to ta ground. Straight up gangsta.
USA4LIFE 10-26-2005, 03:33 PM So what are the undercards. I'll prolly still get this since it's only 20 bucks.

I think its a close fight but Hatton seems to be in the zone. i think he pulls out a dec!
USA4LIFE 10-26-2005, 03:40 PM I don't think this will go past 4 rounds. Hatton by KO.
