So I ****ed up my foot with something called Planter Faciticis. I got it because I was running too much.

Now I can't run for a month or do boxing so I'm gettting fat like a mother, and I don't know what to do about it.

Any ideas?

I am still doing pushups and situps but that's all.

Man maybe this isnt the best idea but you have the rest of your life to be in shape and fight. This is only a month its no huge deal. So if it was me I would sit back and enjoy for the first 2 weeks do nothing and take a break. but if it bothers you maybe ride a bike or walk or swim something like that.

Do an aerobic workout with weights, sweat all that fat away and while building muscle! :D

I might go for arobic with weights, I just got to be real careful not to move around very much with my feet.

And I can't get out of shape because I am fighting at the end of November and in December.

id say sit back and enjoy, let yourself heal, so it doesnt become long term and you heal faster and properly. sometimes you need a break. and when you go back youll work 5x as hard as you were before you hurt yourself

Well, thing is that the way I do it is decrease the ammount of time I let my body rest between rep sets. Thats what I mean by aerobic workouts. Need to be careful, if your muscles are not used to it you can get injured.

I'd do allot of work with dumbells, thats a great Idea, and doing dips and chin/pull ups is great. Also do military press, not on a machine tho, just use the bar and weights on it and raise it over your head and bring it down to your chest, works so much better than a machine and you have to control your body, therefore burning much more calories then if you are in a lying or sitting position.

Hey im feelin for ya coz ive got plantar fasciitis too. I got from doing too much skipping and calf raises. Early in the piece, I culd skip and run but the next morning my heel was aching big time. I got some orthotics (custom made inner soles) for my shoes and that helped ease the pain. Stretch out ur calves prior to training a lot and get some ice on the heel after you have finished training.

Stay away from the high-impact exercise ie. skipping, running on hard surfaces for a short while until the iflammation dies down, then gradually get resume cardio training.

Do you wear a splint at night too? I got some new shoes. And its starting to feel better.

How long did you wait before you got back into training? (Not counting, jumprope and running)

i know the problem, i havent been able to run since march 2004,
been harder to keep the weight.

alternative training is where its at bike, swinmming, skipping(if your able), and lots of sparing and bag work.

just do loads of training that you feel dont hurt your leg.

and i dont need to say that you my need to cut down on your diet.

Looks like you got Ricky Hatton syndrome IE gain weight like a mofo.

Try some alternative cardio exercise like swimming (if you can swim), the rowing machines at the gym, exercise bikes and some of the machines the girls use for cardio.

Oh yeah and stop eating junk food you fatass.

j/k :D Good luck with your weight loss.
