About 2-3 weeks ago I was helping my brother turn over a couch. I bent over and picked it up with my left arm. Ever since then I've been feeling a lot of pressure on a spot on my back. It's located on my back right where my ribcage ends. I've been feeling pain in that spot everytime I bend over or have my back curved at an angle too much, I'm wondering is this a pulled muscle or have I slipped a disc? The pain goes down a bit when I don't put any pressure on it, but then on one day if I put too much pressure on it by accident the pain comes back to a maximum it was already at.

A disc strain can cause pain on both sides of your back and can refer pain to other areas of your back. The fact that you only feel it one place tells me it is more likely a facet joint sprain (on the side of your vertebrae) or a muscle strain.
Rest up and avoid lifting heavy objects in front of you.

That's exactly what it is, it feels like it's only on the left side of my backbone. Thanks for your help guys
