I do right now but in the fall I will go to a public high school for senior year. It will be quite a change! But it will look better on my transcript. I just hope I'm ready! I turn 18 on January 1 and my mom is letting me make adult decisions now.

No. why would it be a joke? lots of people home school. There's a lot in our town. Some of my best friends home school too.

I mean adult stuff, like not having a curfew and stuff like that...Mom always said I had to live by her rules til I turned 18. But I don't smoke or have piercings or anything; I've been a good kid.

Mom's boyfriend says we should break the New Year and my birthday in right and go to the juice bar where he's going to get me a lap dance. I don't know if I want to, though. There's some rough characters that go in there, if you know what I mean.

At least I'm #1 in my class but I don't have a prom date.

Lots of people do homeschool. I happen to feel it is a poor idea.

It shelters kids from the world IMO. THey don't get exposed to something that their parents don't believe or talk about.

i know some top notch people that home school. I don't like it myself, becuase the "real world" takes a back seat. I think kids need to have contact with all types of people and situations whether its bad or not. Good parenting will help them deal with the "bad" things.

yep, you gotta live and survive on the outside. People skillz, hassling, street smarts, wont get them from home shcooling thats fo sho.

I got a job at the Dairy Queen, so I'll learn how to save money. I'm going to public school in the fall, so I'll know how to hang with the other kids. My mom told me about the birds and the bees and so did her boyfriend. That was a nice gesture, but he didn't have to tell me what the tattoo on my mom's inner thigh looks like.

They put a picture of me in the Snaps thread where it said I lost my virginity but that was a joke.

My friend Raul's cousin keeps telling me she's going to make a man out of me and she told me she'll bring a vibrating egg when she visits Raul this summer.

Maybe that's how they eat them in Mexico.

just to touch base with everyone, I'm returning to home school next month.

I lost a semester dropping out to pimp hos with Raul, but I'm back now to continue my education and maybe go back to work. I got fired at the Dairy Queen, but since I have experience in Ice Cream maybe Dari-Licious would consider me.

I do, however, have my most interesting "How I spent my summer" essay prepared.

If any of you have been home schooled thru high schoool please go up to your parents and slap em in the face. they are some of the best/worst times of your life and there depriving you of it.

You can tell this kid isn't for real just the way he talks, as if he has no clue as to what's going on and his openess to share everything with anybody...I've met kids who were sheltered worse then he's making himself out to be who weren't half this bad...so this is all bull...

I have to admit though if this kid were real It'd be real ****ing embarassing...

Home schooling is useless. You get your education alright, but you don't get educated in the real world. It's ****ing useless.
